Morning

Airi went down to the kitchen to start making breakfast for today and today is the day she need to go to the clock tower where the magus study and go meet her colleague.

After one hour of preparation, She Coco yawn as she sit down to the table.

Airi: good you're awake, I need to go to the clock tower since i am meeting a colleague of my and i need you to watch the house when my gone.

Coco: sure why not, are you sure you do need someone looking at you ? considering the nature of the clock tower and those noble might make a move considering they know my father and me and i still know what they did last time.

Airi: i know but as if they will try to ask me to try to marry you to their son.

Coco: how about i ask Verdun ? I know you have some experience of a enforcer like those in the  clock tower but its been a while you fight since you choose to retired and take care of me. And at the same time you were a teacher rather than a fighter.

Airi: what about Verdun ?

Coco: to accompany you in the clock tower just to be sure.

Airi: fine but you will stay here or in the city even i have cellphone to call to know your status.

Coco: really ?

Airi: last time you went to fortuna without telling me.

Coco: That's all ? 

Airi: yes that's all and you are still growing up

Coco just groan before eating her breakfast as Airi smile at her daughter, the two finish their food, Airi clean their plate while Coco went to the bathroom. Coco went upstairs to start her bath while Airi went to the living room with a cup of coffee.

Airi was walking right into Verdun's office she went to the bathroom and suiting up for the clothes she wants to wear and put the things inside her bag and telling goodbye to Coco.

Airi enter the office and see Verdun at his main desk.

Verdun: how may i help Ms.Airi ?

Airi: drop the formality Verdun-kun 

Verdun relax a little bit.

Verdun: ok but what do you need ?

Airi: do you have any idea about the clock tower ?

Verdun: i only know that magus learn there and a bunch for noble rules it and handle the politics, also is not a great place due to most of the magus will use any means necessary to pursue there research and lot's of knowledge of magic.

Airi: well our academy has too a lot of knowledge of magic and at the same time there our people in the clock tower that can be talk too.

Verdun: what's is this all about ?

Airi: i want you to come with me since Coco does not want me to go alone and you might find people there to meet.

Verdun: very well but i need to call Corvo to look out my office and wait for me here.

Verdun went outside of the office while Airi wait for him, After 30 min of waiting Verdun with Corvo with me.

Corvo: So you want me to look after the office while your gone ?

Verdun: that's right and i will accompany Airi at clock tower.

Airi: I was going to meet some people and conduct some business.

Verdun: Very well.

Airi and Verdun leave the office while Crawford materialize.

Crawford: so where are we going ?

Verdun: the Clock tower ?

Crawford: the what ?

Airi: where magus study magic.

Crawford: how about the academy here ?

Airi: The Clock tower has been establish for a very long time but the place is run by noble that has been using magic for a very long time.

Verdun: its also the place where noble who are stuck in the past and will do anything regardless of the method.

Airi: he is right but there are other people who are modern enough to socialize.

Verdun: good to know 

Airi: also Verdun do you use reinforcement magic ?

Verdun: no 

Airi: well i manage to integrate that magic to Coco's tracing.

Verdun: what the results ?

Airi: it further strengthen a little bit coco's tracing and i even suggest to use rune magic in combat while she is not using her devil arms.

Verdun: that's good and i might invest in projection magic and well my rune magic is decent enough but i might research more after this trip.

Airi: you can use reinforcement magic to strengthen part of body but you need to take it slow or that part will explode due to being careless and the person will die. in time a person who master the spell will have her/his body will be magical augment. that person must do it one body part at the time.

Verdun: i see and its the same i meditate and focus my demonic energy  each part of my body one at a time.

Airi: i guess you won't need it.

Verdun: by the way, how we will get to the clock tower ?

Airi: we go to Redgrave city and we wait for the ship. I have the contact number of the captain that he will be at the port and we will use it to get in to the London bridge city pier.

The two take a bus to Redgrave City and from there, they start walking to the port where they waiting for the ship to arrive.

Vergil: is there anywhere in the clock tower i can make a copy for magic research ?

Airi: Well you can read at the library but i don't think they will let you copy some especially to a stranger and not a student.

Vergil: its fine and i was hoping to find some more rune magic and even combine in the near future.

Airi: well the rune magic we use at Deepharbor City is the same rune magic in the clock tower and you now master the demonic rune magic that i teach both you and Coco.

Its been after two months after Verdun celebrate his birthday and some progress has been made that he and Coco already master the demonic rune magic Airi teach them but he forgot to get some materials in the underworld for his project since he is trying to make some weapon but he just make a mental note to make it a priority when he get a chance.

Verdun: its look like here is our ride.

Airi: yup and let's get board on it.
