Verdun was in a top of a building with Clinkz on his right hand while Tamiko and V went their own way. He uses Clinkz and activate the magic circle on the bow to act as a scope and saw a van fly away sideways and see Nero and Mei fly into the air while shooting all the demons around them. He went rooftop to rooftop in order to get close to the van.

As the Van stop at the bridge Mei instantly help the injured soldier by healing magic while Nero continue his journey, Verdun manage to approach and help Mei.

Unknown soldier: thx for the help

Verdun: your welcome

Unknown soldier: are you this type of people who deals this kind of things?

Mei: yup

Unknown soldier: *try to get up* I may enable to walk but that healing magic comes handy, I'll try to go back and ask for some help.

Verdun: take care and run away if you see any hostile being since not only demons from the underworld here but other third party with their own agenda.

Unknown soldier: where did you get that?

Verdun: somebody told me before I enter this city.

Unknown soldier: I see and thank you, but I would like to stay for a bit near at the van.

Unknown soldier stay for a while and start a conversation to Nico.

Mei: shall we?

Verdun: my pleasure but ---

Verdun get to his phone since it is starting ringing and see a message from Tamiko that she and V are on their way and the both of them just deals at least three groups of demon and helps some stranded people and cut some roots on the way.

Verdun: Tamiko said that she and V are on their way to meet us.

Mei: let's get going now that Tamiko and that emo guy will meet us.

Both of them went ahead and meet Nero who are dealing a large number enlarged qliphoth roots that has a massive stationary blood clot that is surrounded by its roots. Verdun use Clinkz to snipe the blood clot with three arrows while Mei shoots the roots with her double pistol (Mercy and Trauma) and instantly make a spear out of ice and throw at the blood clot. Nero backs away when he sees three arrows hit the blood clot and a spear made out of ice, he looks back and see Verdun and Mei.

Nero: took the both of you long enough.

Mei: making sure that soldier don't die.

Verdun: I was in a roof when I saw a Van and saw both of you in the air while shooting at the demons.

Nero: thx for the help by the way.

The three of them saw that massive blood clot spew out a large volume of blood while at the same time the roots disappear in ashes.

They the van are coming to their way and stop in front of them while Nico wave at them and approach the van.

Nico: Hey, guys. That'll keep 'em, but not for long.

Verdun: what do you mean?

Nico: Soldier boy said city goin' to hell and back, taken over by the underworld. Not just here, but everywhere.

Nero looks at his right arm with a worry looks.
