prologue

Dante pov

Its been three months since he saw verdun and victoria at deepharbor city and knowing he has a relative makes him calm down and he has a telephone number in case he wants to talk to them but one thing he can not understand that why vergil left them for his quest for power.

Looking at his shop he knew that his nephew put a boundfield(the first time lady, patty and trish enter his shop got a weird feeling and he told them) for his protection so he can sleep peacefully and the same time got some of his debt got paid by his nephew but still in debt due to the amount of pizza and strawberry sundae he order.

He also knew that his nephew will get stronger in time and teach his nephew some of his style. He also knew his nephew also use magic to the point his nephew teach him some magic trick and boundfield in case something happen on the one his nephew put it on his shop.

flashback at deepharbor city

dante was walking around the city looking for this person but noticed a fight(with the demon abyss form dmc3)and that's the person he is looking for by looking at the person, the way that person use the katana same as his brother with precise  move knowing that he hit the jackpot and when the fight end, he appoach the person he can already tell this person is related to his brother vergil but instead asking the person, he gets his rebellion and use stinger at the person but it got parry by that person's katana with the blade still on the sheath  and teleport behind dante and use yasha(yamato combo B) after that he try to use rapid slash but dante dash to avoid it.

Dante: easy kid (with smirk in his face)

Verdun: not sure why did you attack me

Dante: well kinda want to test you and you look like vergil and you dress like him.

Verdun: you mean father ?

Dante: What ?

Verdun: am still looking for him since he left without telling us

Dante: well but before that how about we spar a little ?

Verdun: sure why not?

Verdun suddenly teleport behind but dante use royalguard to block his attack, switching to swordmaster he use pop shedder at verdun to launch verdun in the air and try to use ariel rave but verdun recover quickly and teleport back with summon sword and make his summon sword point at dante shooting dante while cast a four pillar of lighting making dante flew back and got stun. Verdun unsheath his yasha and perform a stinger type at dante but it got interrupt by his mother using sange(the blade is still on steatlh).

victoria:stop this non sense fight

Dante: Eva? but suddenly he points his ebony knowing this person has demonic pressence.

victoria: (suddenly disarm dante) am not your mom dante

dante: how do you know me ?

victoria: but first stop this fight and go to the mansion.

verdun and dante:ok

After 20 minutes of walking, they reach the mansion. dante whistle by looking at the mansion notice a a demon fox but victoria assure that aspen won't harm him and after they enter the mansion dante ask first.

dante: who are you? (point at victoria)

victoria: my name is victoria hunter who help sparda your father in his rebellion two millennia ago.
