Back in time (Eternals x reader)

Chapter four

The four eternals, y/n and Karun had now gotten on Kingo's private jet and we're on their way to get Thena and Gilgamesh. Y/n sat at the seat in the corner cause they didn't want to sit with the others. They knew what happened to Gilgamesh and they didn't want to be asked questions about it by the others, so sitting quietly in the corner worked, for a bit.

Kingo had came out talking to a camera. "Seven thousand year. That's how long the battle between Eternals and Deviants has raged for." He started his monologue to the camera. "You think I'm a movie star. Well, I am. But I am also... an Eternal."

"Kingo what are you doing?" Sprite asked as Kingo went to sit across from her and Sersi.

"I think we should be remembered, so... I am making a documentary about us." He explained then turned to the camera. "You are about to meet my fellow Eternal, Sprite. Sprite, tell them about yourself."

"Oh wait." Sprite flipped him off then made herself disappear.

"Okay, well, we'll circle back to her. This is Sersi. Sersi, tell them about yourself." Sersi just stared at him for a few seconds. "We're rolling." Kingo stated.

"Well, uh, I can change a rock into water. Uh, I could turn a rock into wood. Or a rock into metal. Actually, one time, I turned a rock into air." Sersi explained to the camera.

"Cut." Kingo said. "Um, you know what? Why don't you think about it, and we'll get back to you, okay?" Kingo stood up and walked away from Sersi.

Sprite came and sat beside y/n. "Tell me, are we gonna get to where Gilgamesh and Thena are and find them both dead?" Sprite asked y/n.

"I can't tell you anything about the future Sprite." Y/n replied bluntly.

"Just tell me this. Am I gonna lose anymore of my family anytime soon." Y/n fell silent. "I guess you just gave me my answer. I don't wanna know who if it's gonna change the reality of the future, I just want to know so I can prepare myself for losing someone else. It was hard enough to lose Ajak, I don't know if I can take losing anyone else."

"It's hard to lose people, especially when they are your family. My parents told me many stories about all your adventures, but what they talked about the most was how great you all were as people, and about how much they missed Ajak." Y/n started to explain.

"What if you tell me what happens in the future?" Sprite asks.

"I don't know honestly, me being here for this amount of time might have already changed everything, but most likely if I told you what happened you would try to change it and if you succeed then that would definitely change what happens in the future."

"What if I promised not to change anything? You tell me what happens and I just don't do anything about it." Sprite tried to negotiate.

"We both know you won't do that. Saving people is what you do, and if it's your family you have to save you will stop at nothing."

"I guess you're right. You're 7,000 years younger than me but are sounding much smarter than me." Sprite joked and the two laughed. "How old even are you?"

"15."

"Damn, you're like a baby." Sprite said then paused for a moment something clicking in her head. "Wait you said you're from 15 years in the future... and you're 15, which means-"

"That Makkari is pregnant with me present day, yep you would be right." Y/n finished Sprite's sentence.
The two sat in an awkward silence after that, neither of them knowing what to say.

"So are we good?" Y/n asked Sprite.

"What?"

"Well when I showed up it was quite obvious you hated me, now that you've kinda gotten to know me do you still hate me?"

"No, and I didn't hate you before, I just don't like new people... let me say that again, I don't like people."

"Except your family?"

"Oh no sometimes I hate them too. They can get on my nerves but they're family so I kinda have to put up with them."

"Speaking of, look who it is. The movie star for centuries." Y/n said as Kingo walked over to them.

"It wasn't centuries, it was only hundreds of years."

"Still, nobody ever wonders how you managed to be a leading man for over 100 years?" Sprite asked.

"Oh I don't know what you're talking about. That is my great-great-grandfather, that is my great-grandfather, grandfather, father, and me." Kingo replied as he pointed to each of the posters. "I'm part of the greatest dynasty in the history of Bollywood. Pretty impressive, right?"

"Are people really that stupid? I know a lot of people look like their parents but how has no one noticed that you look identical." Y/n said, Kingo looked at them with a disappointed look and they just smirked.

"You abandoned me in Macedonia." Sprite changed the subject. Y/n could feel the anger building up inside Sprite.

"Okay, I got sick of moving every five years. People freak out when they notice you don't... age." Kingo replied.

"I thought we were friends."

"Do you know why I love movies?" Kingo asked.

"Is it cause you love seeing yourself on a screen." Y/n replied sarcastically.

"No, it's because of you, Sprite. I missed sitting in the audience, listening to your stories, watching your illusions. We should've all stayed together. Ajak would still be alive. She should have never let us go."

"Maybe if we had all stayed together, none of this would be happening." Sprite said.

"So how do you know who the eternals are y/n?" Kingo asked.

"My parents are Eternals." Y/n said obviously as they flipped through the pages of a magazine they found on the plane.

"Okay... you got any other powers apart from time travel?" Kingo asked.

"What are you doing?" Y/n asked.

"You're new, I wanna know more about you." Kingo said as though it was the most obvious explanation. "So have you got any other powers?" He repeated.

"Uh yeah, I can read minds and emotions. I can control the reading minds part but not the emotions part."

"How can you not control it?"

"I can't decide if I want to read someone's emotions, it just kinda happens and I can't stop it."

A/n: I just wanna say thank you so much for the reads on this I just started to write this for fun, I never thought anyone would actually read it. So thank you for over 350 reads on this.

Also I'm trying to come up with some ideas for the next chapter but I'm struggling so it might take me a little longer to get it out.
