Chapter six

꧁Amazon꧂

Everyone had went to the Amazon where Druig's camp was. Y/n looked around seeing a lot of people, they were all under Druig's mind control.

"It's very nice here, sir." Karun said as we walked through the camp.

"Don't be fooled." Kingo replied. "Ignorance is bliss."

Y/n and Sprite walked over to a guy. "Hey. We're looking for Druig. Is he here?" Sprite asked in Spanish.

"How do you know Druig?" The man relied also in Spanish.

"We're friends... from collage." Sprite replied in Spanish. The guy turned round again to face Sprite and y/n but this time his eyes were a golden colour.

"Hello, Sprite." The guy said in Druig's voice. A door opened and Druig walked out to greet them all. The eternals, y/n and Karun moved closer to the door.
"I missed all of you." Druig said. "Please, make yourselves at home."

"Well, this family reunion is off to a great start." Y/n mattered as they followed the others.

They were all sitting inside. They had just told Druig the truth about everything.

"You've given me a lot of bad news in one go, my lady." Druig said looking at Sersi.

"Will you help us?" Sersi asked.

"I am glad that-" Druig started but was cut off by Sersi's ringtone. She picks up her phone and puts it on silent.

"Hey, what's your service?" Kingo asked. "I'm not getting any bars."

"Do you all remember this forest? Beautiful." Druig says changing the subject. "It was the last place we all lived together. I've protected these people for 20 generations now from the outside world and from themselves." Druig walked over to Karun. "You're kind, my friend, you will be responsible for your own extinction one day. Don't you think?"

"I think we must learn from our mistakes and do better, sir." Karun replied. "You must not give up hope." Druig's eyes turned gold and he mind controlled Karun. Karun threw his camera at the wall breaking it.

"Oh, no, you didn't." Kingo sighs and stands up to face Druig. "Okay, new rule, no more possessing people's valets."

"Oh, where is your sense of humor, Kingo?" Druig said.

"I'm sorry, sir." Karun replied.

"Don't apologise, it's not your fault." Kingo tells Karun then turns to Druig again. "You are not a god. You know that, right?"

"How ironic. Kingo, the movie star." Druig said.

"I've directed some things, too." Kingo argued.

"Oh, yeah? Like what?" Druig asked.

"Some internet content." Kingo replied. Y/n rolled their eyes 'are they seriously arguing about this'  Y/n thought.

"How many views?" Druig asked.

"I don't do it for the views." Kingo replied.

"Let's go. He's wasting our time." Ikaris said and started walking out.

"We need him." Sersi told Ikaris.

"Ikaris." Druig said and walked infront if Ikaris. "I missed you. Are you gonna charm me or threaten me?"

"I mean, there's a third option, if you prefer that." Ikaris replied.

"It must be heartbreaking to find out that you're not mother's favourite." Druig said.

"And I'm sure she'd be real proud of what you've been up to." Ikaris argued back.

"Are they always like this?" Y/n asked Sprite and she nodded.

"Druig, this is serious." Sersi interrupted.

"I'll tell you what's serious." Druig said walking over to Sersi. "I've just been told I've been sent on a suicide mission for the past 7,000 years, and that my entire existence is a lie. So, excuse me for not giving a shit about your plan right now." Druig walked out.

"Druig sucks." Kingo said.

"He does sir." Karun added.

"You do realise that he's my dad." Y/n told Kingo.

"Wait, what?" Everyone except Ikaris, Sprite and Sersi looked at them.

"Yeah, Druig's kid from the future. I've been over this already do you just not listen?" Y/n told everyone.

"I don't listen to snarky children from the future." Kingo replied. Y/n rolled their eyes again.

A/n: hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't updated in ages, I injured my wrist a few weeks ago and struggled to write, it's better now so I'm gonna try get back to updating but I've got exams next month so most of my time is spent doing homework and studying so it might take a bit longer for me to update this.
I hope you are all enjoying this story as much as I'm enjoying writing it.
