Chapter 2

Eric POV:

I am so ready to get this over with so I can go to the bar and grab a drink.

Finally I hear the train approaching so I jump on my perch above the hole these inaniates are going to have to jump through.

As I stand there and with my arms crossed showing off my muscles to intimate these little brats I have a hard time keeping my mouth from dropping open. Two dauntless born jump out of the train with an amity between them. I can't help but think how much fun I am going to have breaking this banjo playing girl.

"Who wants to go first?" I say expecting more arguements and questions.

Then amity jumps off her friends back and says "me" really an amity as first jumper? I have to admit I am impressed. I know she won't last but she does have guts.

I love to look in their eyes and see the fear right before they jump but not her. She walks over confident and jumps up on the ledge as I jump down. She turns to look at everybody and winks at her friends and does a back flip right off the ledge.

I stand there till I hear a laugh from below as she realizes she landed on a net.

"Next?"
