Chapter Eleven

"Yeah but come on, it's not like you would ever let me drink like that again" Ebony said throwing her arm over my shoulder as we walked into school Monday morning with Garrett in tow
He ended up spending the entire weekend with us given Ebony's hangover wiped her out
"I didn't let you get this drunk to begin with E" I chuckled as we headed towards my locker

The closer we got to my locker, the more confused I got
"You did make friends you liar!" Ebony said as we got to my locker to see Hayden, Nathan and Jason stood at my locker
"Boys" Garrett nodded making them all nod back as I rolled my eyes
"Who are they?" Ebony asked making Garrett laugh
"Ouch Ebony" Jason said placing a hand on his heart
"Babe, you're our head cheerleader and you don't know the people on the team?" Garrett laughed

Nice to know that they are connected to Garrett in one way or anything, gives me that little bit of a push to say they can't be that bad right?

"What are you lot doing here?" I asked turning to the boys, before they could reply I shot Garrett a look making him nod
"come on Babe, it's our time to leave Bry to it" Garrett said placing his hands on his girlfriends shoulder steering her away
"no no I wanna listen" Ebony pouted making Garrett roll his eyes

"boys why don't you come over to the house tonight, then you can be subject to Ebony's every question" Garrett asked and the boys shrugged nodding 
I shot Garrett a look

"Did you just invite people over to our house? Ours as is mine and Ebony's?" I asked and he smugly smiled
"Hey there Baby Anderson! I practically live there too" He winked as he finally got Ebony moving
I rolled my eyes again turning back to the boys who were chuckling still

"So what are you doing?" I asked again before Jason and Nathan turned to look at Hayden
"Well I mean, your dad told you to make friends" He said and I shot him a look
"So uh Tadaaa?" He smiled making me roll my eyes as I exchanged books in my locker
"And what makes you think I wanted to be friends?" i asked and Hayden smirked
"I don't think you would tend to talk to strangers for hours on end" He smugly replied crossing his arms across his chest 

"Yeah well it was a minor hiccup in my story" I said thinking back to what Garrett and I had spoken about 
"your story?" Jason asked and I nodded
"We all have one" I smiled making him chuckle this time

"come on Bryony, what's wrong with hanging with us? I'm sure we could learn a few things from you" Hayden said before making the boys nod alongside with him
"What? Like what the inside of a library looks like?" I offered making them all glare
"Oooo I hit a nerve" I teased ruffling all of their hair one by one 
"What do you say?" Hayden asked again with some new found confidence

I rolled my eyes looking back into my locker, on the back of the door had two photos, one of them being a photo of Mum and I then the other is of Megan and I.
If they were here, I know they would be telling me to give them a shot. I mean at this point what did I have to lose?
I was a nobody here, I could only work my way up
Maybe the boys could be my starting point..

"I mean you've already been invited over so maybe we'll take it one step at a time" I said making all three of them flash their pearly whites
"That's the best decision you've ever made" Nathan said and I scoffed a little

They didn't know half the decisions I've made, this may have been the easiest but it certainly isn't the best
