Chapter Three: Dealing with Confusions

"This shouldn't be happening if Carly did not let me watch that stupid teen chick movie" Sam thought to herself as she put stuffs in her backpack to go to school. She doesn't want to leave the house after what had happened yesterday. It was a nightmare that is happening in real life. She just want to lock herself in her room and never get out of it until she figured what was going on. She hasn't yet but now she needs to go pack her backpack and head towards school. As she came her best friend angrily approach her.

"SAM, where have you been yesterday? You miss the show and you get me worried" her best friend Carly said.

"I'm sorry, I just did not felt good. I need to run home after school because I could not take it"

"Oh, Okay" Carly replied with a soft voice. Sam was about to say something to her but she got interrupted by her.

"Wait..... What do you mean by 'I could not take it?' Are you okay?" Carly hissed.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just sleepy I think" Sam lied. Well, we all know that Sam is a very great liar that is why Carly didn't get carried away but since she is her best friend.....

"Well,  you still haven't answer my question" she stated.

"What question?" Sam defensively replied.

"What do you mean by 'I couldn't take it anymore?" Carly said irritated.

"Uhmm...Well.... I... just" she tried to find her words but couldn't. She wouldn't just spill the whole "FREDDIE THING" to her because it's still not clear.

"WHAT?" Carly yelled at her impatiently.

"Calm down, Carls.  Tell you what" she said desperately finding some lies.

"WHAT?" Carly shouted at her again.

"You know me right? I hate school and my last period sucked. It's so boring and I couldn't take it anymore, so when the last bell rang, I rushed through the school doors and went straight to my house". She immediately gather herself.

"Oh, but when that events happen you always rush to my apartment, not yours. Why is that?" Carly started to get suspicious. 'OH CRAP' Sam said to herself.

"Well..... My mom got this..... N... new thi..thingy magginnggys that is very cool to play with. That is why I hurry back to my place instead of your place". Sam said not wanting to blow her cover even though it might began.

"Since when do your Mom bought stuff that is COOL?" a curious Carly said.

"Since that therapy thing. You know Mom is starting to be a little more "Mom" after that. It makes me sick but at the same time good". She said

"Well then why'd you miss the show?" Carly asked.

"'Cause I got to caught up with this thing, and then I...ah...I fall asleep and I just woke up this morning". She said very bluntly.

"Then why did you say that you are sleepy? Are you okay, Sam? You know that you can talk to me about anything right?" Carly said getting a lot more curious than she is just minutes ago. Luckily the bell rang for the first period and then means Sam doesn't need to come up with another lie that cannot possibly a lie anymore.

"Bye, Carls! I don't want to be late". She said rushing to the revolving doors.

"Since when do you don't want to be late at class?" Carly tried to shout at her but she already disappeared. 'UGHH' Carly thought to herself then hurry to her first class.

The trio did not see each other the rest of the day because Sam manage to stay away from them. They didn't even see her at Lunch. LUNCH, Carly and Freddie would not even think about Sam missing Lunch Breaks, never in a hundred thousand years. 'Something is up, and I am positive of it' Carly said to Freddie as the bell rang signaling that the lunch break just ended.
