AUTHOR'S NOTE:

This chapter and the next were bonus content created for my original fans on AO3 as a thanks for their patience and support. This one serves nothing to the original plot as it's just an alternate/parody ending, but the next one is an epilogue if you guys want to read it.

*~*~*~*~*

Luz flew over the gate and came to a halt at the bottom of the winding hill that would lead her up to Blight Manor, smiling up at the building as she kicked her leg up and over off of Eda's staff that brought her here. She grabbed it in her hand and turned it upright, Owlbert coming to life and hooting gently at her with a gentle trill afterwards.

"Thanks, buddy." Luz said, and she offered him a small bug which he snapped up gratefully. "Get home safe to Eda, okay?"

He nodded and, returning to his palisman form, took off into the night sky back towards the Owl House. Luz watched him disappear over the trees before turning to face the pathway. She tucked her thumbs under the backpack straps around her shoulders and started walking. Excitement radiated in every step she took towards the manor. This was their usual routine when Amity was sneaking Luz into the manor. She would drop down by the path and make her way up until she came to a small gap in the hedges. She would duck into it and make her way around to Amity's side of the house under her window. From there, Amity would summon an abomination hand that would lift her up to the window and she'd be free to climb in from there.

However, just as she was about to duck into the hedge, her scroll pinged in her pocket. She pulled it out to read the message.

Kitten (06:58pm):

Don't worry about taking the hedge. Front door is unlocked. Just come to my room.

"Curiouser and curiouser..." Luz whispered, but didn't debate it as she shrugged away from the gap and continued up the main road.

As Amity told her, the front doors were unlocked and she was able to waltz right in without issue. She did, however, take the initiative to lock the front doors behind her once she was inside. Taking a look around, Luz started towards the staircase and skipped them two at a time until she was at the second landing that would lead her to Amity's room. She took a left at the top of the stairs and headed for the hallway down to her girlfriend's door. She raised a hand and knocked, just to be polite.

"Amity?" she said.

"Come in, Luz." came Amity's voice from inside.

Smiling to herself, Luz let herself in and was immediately taken back at the set up on the other side of the door. The candles, the fairy lights, the smell of vanilla in the air, the rose petals leaving a path up to the bed where Amity was reclined in a light blue baby doll lingerie and matching panties- Wait, what?

Luz did a double take, her arms going a bit slack as she took in Amity's form again with her jaw metaphorically on the floor. Amity giggled, the sound sultry and inviting, and sat up straighter.

"You gonna come in and close the door, or stand there and gawk some more?" she asked.

"Can't I do both?" Luz said. She did step further into the room to close the door though, and made sure to check that the door was locked.

Amity shifted so she was on her hands and knees instead, inching down to the edge of the bed. "Why would you wanna do that when you could be over here with me...?"

"You make a valid argument, Blight." Luz replied. She made her way to the bed in front of Amity, sliding her backpack off her shoulders and letting it fall to the floor in front of the bed with a quiet thud. "So... were you just saying we couldn't hang out today so you could set all this up?" She gestured to the room vaguely.
