Zaria couldn't leave without telling Stefan. He supported her in her decision but made her promise to call every single day. She agreed instantly. They found the bar where Jasmine worked. They decided to show up to the party that was being hosted.

It was a movie reference party. Zaria spent all night designing a spider web dress to symbol spider man. Kai went dressed as Peter Parker. The duo strolled into the party and spotted Jasmine immediately.

She was dressed in a heathers costume. The two women locked eyes. Jasmine walked towards the woman. "Welcome to lucky's" she said. "New in town" Kai swiftly answered.

"Hi mom" Zaria blurted without thinking. "Jacel. Kai." She stated. The duo were shocked "you remember us?" Kai asked. "I never forgot. I was told the two of you were dead" Jasmine said. She touched Jacel's arm.

Memories flashed through both the girls. Jasmine quickly ripped her hand away. "Enjoy the party. We shall talk after" the dark skinned woman disappeared. Zaria faced her father who started after Jasmine.

"Da-" she stopped talking when her father turned around and left. The girl sighed deeply and stepped outside. She called Stefan. The one rang twice. "Hey zari" his cheerful tone made her feel better already.

"Hey stef" she sighed "what's wrong" she could hear him shift in his bed. "So turns out my mom didn't forget about us. She just thought we were dead" Zaria told him.

Stefan frowned. He could hear how upset her tone was "Was she happy to see you?" He asked. "No. She said it so blankly as if we aren't her kid and husband" she sighed. "We?" He asked. "My dad is here too" Zaria said.

"Who's your dad?" Stefan questioned. "Don't hate me for this" she whispered. "I could never hate you my love." He assured her. "Kai Parker" Zaria blurted. "So your actual name is" he got cut off.

"Jacel Parker I prefer Zaria Bennett more" she told him. "Both are pretty names for my pretty girl. Mingle with your parents darling" he told her. "I love you stefan" she said. "I love you more Jacel Zaria Parker Bennett" he joked.

"Ugh you had to pull out the entire government name" she groaned. "He laughed "seriously tho go ahead and have fun. Update me later". "Okay bye" she said and hung up. She sighed and went back in.

The entire night the three avoided each other. Soon the party came to a end and it was time for them to talk. The sat down at the bar with drinks.

It was silent "why didn't you want me?" Zaria spoke up taking a drink of her scotch. "Non-" Jasmine was cut off. "You didn't want me." Zaria repeated. Jasmine looked to Kai and sighed.

"After a while I didn't. Your powers they-" she was cut off once again. "Your scared of me. I don't blame you considering I have 2 psychopathic genes in my body, bpd and a old drug addiction" Zaria listed blankly.

She could see why her mother didn't want her. She herself didn't even want her. She had no clue why Stefan wanted her and she made a note to ask. Both parents stayed quiet.

Kai rubbed her arm in a attempt to comfort her. It didn't work considering she was still upset. Zaria let out a sigh "I'm booking the first plane home. Good bye Jasmine" she stood up and left. Kai turned toward Jasmine.

"How could you do that to Jacel" he said. "That abomination of a child-" Kai used the magic from the Crystal he sucked up to snap her neck.

He laughed and ran his tounge over his teeth "she's dead?" Zaria spoke behind him. Kai nodded Zaria sighed "am I going to become you?" She asked. "No. You my beautiful daughter have a way better path then I" he told her.

She squeezed her eyes shut as tears slipped down her face. Liar.

"I'm going to the hotel" she mumbled and left. That night she told Stefan everything. "I'm sorry baby." He said "it's okay. What happened with you?" She asked him. He sighed deeply.

"My moms alive." He spoke. "What? I thought she- did you connect with her at least" she asked. "I did. And her stupid new family" he grumbled. "Stef it's okay to be mad or sad" she assured him.

"I know. I just don't want her to get the best of me, please just come home" he whined. "I'll be home tomorrow morning baby" she told him. He grinned at this, she yawned " im gonna get some sleep" she said.

"Zari. Remember I'll always love you" he spoke, "I'll always love you too"
