Clicking Madness

"Tingin mo, anong nangyayare?" Hindi ko nilubayan ng mata ang apoy.

"Bad news, Reigna," he whispered behind my ear.

Narinig sa buong silid ang muling pagbukas ng pintuan. Nagsibabaan ang ulo ng nakapilang grupo kabilang ako upang magbigay galang sa Reyna. Ang bilis ng paglalakad niya kumpara sa nakasanayan. Nang silipin ko ay punong puno ng pagkabahala ang mata niya, may binubulong din si Butler Weston na mukhang hindi nakatulong.

What just happen to wake the palace panicking?

She scan one of us before greeting without a smile. "Good evening, Black Spade."

"Pardon my excuse, may we know what emergency call is this for?" Owinis asked politely.

"One of our research facility exploded—no," her eyes were fierce. Jaw clenched. "Someone bombed it." At all once, she said it directly like she had no choice but to spill it already.

No one dared to speak in the middle of the frustration or even make a noise to make her unpleased. The calmed Queen is now crooked.

Why?

Pinilit tumayo ng lalake na hinihingal, subalit nahirapan siya dahil sa nagdagsaang kasamahan na hindi man lang siya tinulungan. Punong-puno ng ingay. Kahit hindi ako nandoon, pakiramdam ko ay nasaksihan ko mismo ang eksena.

"Cut it," the Queen signed when her facial expression couldn't take the mess anymore. The hologram disappeared, she isn't happy—mad at least. "Our royal investigators are already in the crime scene figuring the incident. But it will take time to locate where the bombs were put since the building is almost shipwrecked. Even with our high technology, we can't just easily dig the place without causing trouble."

Biglaang bumukas ang pintuan, kumunot ang noo ko. Guwardiya sibil ito at kasunod niya si Cervin sa tabi.

"Your Majesty, he has come."

"Professor Cervin, thank you for visiting," bati ng Reyna pagkasuyod ng tingin sa ama niya.

"I've already heard what happened. Later I will be visiting and be joining them in the investigation. Thank you for your concern, your Majesty."

"The facility is named under Professor Cervin Lavoisier. It was him and their team who's attacked. And if I am not mistaken, this is once again the rebels doing. Those rebels..."

Rebelde... 'yon lang ang tanging tumatak saakin.

"My belief is strongly favored by the only evidence we have at the time being," she snap her finger for concentration. "The bombs used aren't ordinary. A building owned by our Professor Cervin cannot be easily taken down unless the chemical in the bomb are also high defined. The clan who architectured the palace is also the one who manage every research facility of the Lavoisier clan. Therefore... someone with high profile background could have planted this."

She sighed and shrug her head before massaging it.

"I know that this is a big issue that will travel down to Gredorma. An uprising will be once again open to question our ability to lead and captive those rebels. But this isn't the reason why I called Black Spade," she apologetically smiled. "My bad if I can't still share the conclusion with you. But as a matter of priority, we have a bigger preparation to face—and this shall involve the upcoming King."
