"Wa na nana," Chaeyoung hummed TXT's 'Way Home' as she sat silently at the bay window of the Blackpink dorm. Half an hour ago Jungkook had texted her to be ready, he would pick her up.
They have been doing these meet-ups for the past few months. Yes, they were meet-ups only and not dates, both of them have confirmed that to whoever had asked them. Anyways, for the last few months, they have been going to various places, just the two of them, to spend some time together.
They have made various memories throughout, and what started as a friendly meet-up has turned into something more by the end of three months.
Of course, in between BTS had their LA concert which Blackpink would have joined but due to Lisa getting COVID they couldn't. Then BTS went on a break and Jungkook went to Busan and Chaeyoung went to Austrailia. So, they didn't meet up for the last one and a half weeks.
Now it was the thirty-first of December, New Year Eve when Jungkook said Chaeyoung to 'meet-up' again. Chaeyoung got pretty excited as soon as his call came, yes, people are excited to meet their friends, aren't they?
So for her friend, Chaeyoung dressed up in a red sleeveless dress, A-lined and polka-dotted. To be honest, Chaeyoung called them 'frocks for adults' until Lisa corrected her saying they are A-line dresses and calling her from 'Stone Age'. Anyways, she dressed up, left her blonde-dyed hair open, applied a light amount of make-up, and wore a maroon long coat to complete her look. Then she took out the long maroon boots she had been longing to wear and was now sitting and waiting for Jungkook.
His heart was beating fast, as Jungkook sped through the road towards Blackpink's dorm in his car. Of course, his heart was beating fast because he ran to get in his car. Not because he was meeting Chaeyoung after a long time, of course not.
