School Of Performing Arts, Seoul

The young boy ran through his steps as he entered the high school in Seoul. His big doe eyes curiously wander around on his first day sucking in the environment- here where he got admitted a few days ago and had celebrated with his hyungs. He missed his mom and dad as he saw various students struggling to get released from their parent's hold- they don't know what affection is until they don't have it.

He gets to his assigned locker in his yellow uniform as he checks the timetable and realizes his first period is maths. Putting his things in the locker he took his books and headed towards the class.

The young girl entered the school gate as she made her way towards the lockers and checked her schedule- maths. She walked towards the class and got a seat for herself beside a black-haired girl with bangs that almost covers her eyes.

"Oh hi, I'm Lalisa Manoban." The black-haired girl spoke up.

"Hi, I am Roseanne Park, my Korean name is Park Chaeyoung." She smiled and she grinned back.

"Well I am a transfer student from Thailand," Lisa said.

"Oh, I'm from Australia but I am Korean as an origin," Chaeyoung said.

"We are going to be such great friends." Lisa squealed earning looks from other students but she never cared. Whilst on the other hand Chaeyoung became aware of what they think. Two opposite personalities- who thought they could become such good friends .although they only had maths and music common, but fate decided to have two best friends for life. But they didn't know that yet. There were two naïve minds to support each other anytime in the future.

On the other side of the classroom, the doe-eyed boy took out his book, his shy demeanour stopping him from initiating any conversation with the other students. He sat there quietly dwelling with himself about his intrusive nature while turning the pages of his book as a boy came over and sat beside him.

"Hello, I'm Yugyeom." He spoke up his questioning eyes scanning the boy as he shyly looked at him.

"Hi, I am Jeongguk." He said swiping his brown hair to the side of his head. His hyungs told him to make good friends hope he can satisfy them.

The two started talking about various things and little did they know they would be the two shining stars of the universe in their future, having each other by their sides. They had almost all classes together which rejoiced both their minds to spend most of the day laughing and pranking each other.

After the lunch break, Jeongguk and Chaeyoung made their way to the Physics class and unknowingly sat in front of each other. Other girls and boys sat around them and started chatting.

"Hey, I guess you are the newbies, I am Ae Ri, this is Chan Mi, Dasom, Yera, and Sora. The boys are Byung Ho, Dae Jung, Hwang, Jeong Ho, Seong Jin, and Dong Hyun."

"Hello I am Roseanne Park, my Korean name is Park Chaeyoung. I am from Australia but am Korean." The girl smiled lightly looking towards them.

"I am Jeon Jeong Guk, I am Korean from Busan." He spoke slowly voice low as if it was the world's deepest secret.

"Oh, great now that we have introduced ourselves I guess we can be friends." Chan Mi beamed at the newcomers but a bit too much at Jeongguk which made him seem that she was just being nice. They all shared many classes and Chaeyoung and Jeongguk were fast to accept them as friends.

Little did they know how it would affect them later, how a simple 'hi' can change a whole life course, how it can build or shatter a person.

"This is Mrs Park, our maths teacher, she's very nice btw." Ae Ri said. The teacher started speaking as the whole class quietened and only the scribbling of the pen was heard for some time. Chaeyoung looked at the teacher repeating her habit of observing someone's features. She was not that pretty but she was beautiful, the difference clearly visible in her eyes. She looked into her classmates trying to sink in their features, Jeongguk was pretty easy though. He was an introvert, shy but would open up if helped.

Jeongguk curiously looked around his doe eyes widening at the teacher's name and internally making a note of teasing his hyung just a little bit. He bit down a smile as he remembered the offended look on Jimin's face before turning back to see the golden rays of sun falling through the window lighting up a part of the room. The leaves blew in cool wind and for a moment he was lost in it before coming back to his senses.

After class Chaeyoung came up to Jeongguk and said, "Hi, I am Chaeyoung."

"I am Jeongguk." He repeated with a sparkle in his eyes.

What would a simple friendship change, or would it, would it drastically?
