"lights?" Alex asked.
"Somebody must be there"  karube says.
"lets go" he adds.
"okay' i say.
we make our way to the light.
we arrive at this arcade looking building.
we stare at it.
we slowly enter.
Theres a small tv screen that says.
"the game arena is up ahead"
we carry on walking.
a light with a arrow flickers.
we turn.
we see a sign
"one per person"
we look at eachother but stay silent.
we walk down.
above the sign is phones.
we take one each.
we turn it on.
the phone says
"face recognition in process, please wait a momment."
"its got a face recongtion" alex says as the phones turn to the home screen.
"do we use these phones?" Karube asks.
"theres no signal" i add.
"the call functions disabled." I say.
our phones go onto a white screen
a voice says
"please wait for the game to commence."
"currently there are 3 particapents"
"One minute till regetastion closes"
"what the hell is this?" I ask.
" a game" we hear a voice behind us.
we turn.
"finally a person" i say.
"hey, uh do you know where everybody went?" Karube asks.
she walks to us.
and takes alexs id card from him and throws it.
a red wall apears as it hit something, showing us there is no escape.
"What the hell was that?" Karube asks.
"a laser?" I ask.
"cross the borderline and you will never return" she tells us.
"you have no choice but to play the game." She adds
she picks up a phone.
i walk to it.
"hey!" Karube says.
"you heard what she said, dont do it" alexander says.
we see another girl.
"oh, im so relieved!" She says.
"i thought there was nobody else here!" She says walking to us.
"Aaaahhh.." we say thinking shes going to get lazered.
she looks at us confused as she enters.
"my condolences" the other girls says.
she passes a phone to the girl.
we all hear a ping
"regerstion is now closed"
"the game will now commence"
"game?" Says the girl.
"game: dead or alive"
"difficulty:three of clubs"
"Three of clubs?" Asks alex.
"what does that mean?" I say.
"rule: select the correct door, within the stipulated time"
"what?" I say.
"leave the building within the time limit"
the red elevator beside us opens.
With a note on the wall
"start"
the lady goes towards the door
"you'll die if you just stand there." the lady says.
she enters the elevator and waits for us.
the girl follows her, scared.
"we have no choice" Karube says.
us three enter
The door closes.
The door opens on another floor.
"your time limit for this room is two minutes"
i look at them and exit the elevator first.
"what is this" karube asks.
one door says alive
the other says dead.
"is this really..a..game?" I ask.
"i think this is uh, getting really exicting" says alex, taking out his phone to record.
i laugh.
"im sure these must be doors to a art gallery" alex says as me and karube go closer to the door.
"i wanna go..home" the girl says.
"You'll be fine, your with us! We will win the game get the prize and go home" says alex.
"our prize?" She asks.
"ye im sure we are gonna get one" alex smirks.
"One minute remaining"
"arisu, which door do you think it is?" karube asks.
"Well...dead or alive.." i say
"well it cant be the skeleton right?" alex laughs.
"and if we choose the wrong door?" I ask the lady behind me.
"The answer is alive" she says.
"open the door that says alive" she says.

"because obviously its the alive door" she says.
Alex sniffs.
"do you guys smell something?" He asks.
"Oh fuck" karube says as he looks down at smoke coming from the ground.
"is it a fire?" I say as people freak out.
"Thirty seconds remaining"
we begin to cough.
"THE ANSWER IS ALIVE, HURRY AND OPEN THE DOOR" the lady yells.
"you open it!" Karube says.
"what happens if our time runs out?" I ask.
"we have no time! Hurry up!" The lady shouts.
"why do u think thats the right answer?" I ask as i choke.
"cause we shouldnt choose die clearly!" alex says.
"twenty seconds remaining"
"i cant take it anymore!" Says the girl.
"i cant breathe" she adds.
she opens the door and a lazer shoots on her head.
she falls and the door closes.
"is..she dead." asks alex.
i cough.
"ten seconds remaining"
The lady opens the other and goes through.
karube runs after her.
i follow.
alex stays still in the state of shock as the girl died and the seconds count down from 5.
"alex!" I say i go back and grab him going through the door.
the room catches on fire and the door closes.
"the time limit for this room is one minute and 50 seconds"
"she really is dead.." says karube
"what the hell is this!" I ask.
"YOU are the one that killed that girl" i say to the lady.
"but you guys surived because of me, didnt you" she says snobly.
"WHAT?" says karube
"go on, hit me all you want but if you keep on doing this, you will die next" she says.
"the last one was die, so this one should be alive" i say
"thats what want us to think" karube says.
"but its hard to chose die.." i say
"wait a second" the lady says.
"i think this is a game where we choose a sacrifice" she adds.
"sacrificre?" Asks karube.
"theres probably no difference in the doors, whats important is who opens them" she says.
"there telling us to choose a person in the time limit" she adds.
"well you sacrifed that girl, why dont you open the next door!" I say.
"well i believe if i surivive, it will for the good of mankind." She says.
i hear alex throwing up.

"nobody will open the door at this rate" i say.
"We are all going to die in the fire if time runs OUT!" Karube yells.

The smoke comes up again making us cough.
"alright, ill open it" i say.

my hands shake as i reach for the handle.

"ARISU" alexander yells.
i let go and drop.
"See not so easy is it, even you would of sacrificed that girl!" She says.

"Karube!" alex crys.

she looks scared.
karube stands up and walks to her.

The others run in fastly.

"whats going on" asks karube

"we are in a square building, assuming that each room is square" i say.

"which means the door on the right cannot be accessed, then i opened the door to this room"

"By process of elimation this room and the one beside it cant be accessed" i say.

i say as the count down goes off and we all run into the room.

"If your reasoning is right, we are gonna survive!" Karube says.

"this game is not based on luck, we need to do it together!" I say.
"according to my drawing the next one is dead!" I say.

i nod.

the others come in behind me.

"alive" i say as i look at the door.
"lets go!" I say as i run and open the door.

"so whats next?" Says alex.
"since that doors out of the question, do we choose the one on the outer wall?" Alex says.

"the room we are in right now..is on the left-end corner of the building. we are made to think to choose the die door to lead us out..but as i recall there is no gap between this and the next building. The alive door will lead us to where the highschool girl died...i dont know why theres no door to connect to the back of the building..."
I say.
"we are wasting time, we are all gonna die!" She yells.
"you didnt even open a door!" karube says to her.
"dont blame this on me!" She says.
"Stop it you two!" Alex says.
the smoke comes up.
"wait!" I say
"alex! you took a video of the first room!" I shout.
"theres no time for that!" The lady cries.
"thirty seconds remaining"
alex shows me the video.
"I couldve missed something" i explain.
"theres no door!" i say.
"huh" the lady says.
"theres no door in the room the girl entered!" I say.
"what does that mean-" she says.
"theres a door there!" I interupt.
"ten seconds remaining"
"that means..the room the highschool girl died in isnt next to us!" I say.
"theres another room on the other side!!" I say.
The countdown starts again.
we run to the door.
alexs leg catches on fire but he makes it.
"the limit for this room is ten seconds"
"ten seconds are you kidding me?" Karube yells trying to put alexs leg out of fire.
The girl runs to the alive door.
"ITS NOT ALIVE ITS DEAD, DONT OPEN IT ITS A TRAP!" i yell.
I open the door and karube picks up alex and follows me.
the lady just making it behind.
"which way now?" She asks as we run.
"Head downstairs" i yell.
we all run.
"Come on alex, you can do it!" karube says.
we all fall when we get to the bottom out of breathe.
"game cleared"
"congratulations!"
"its all thanks to you!" The girls says.
"thank you" she adds still breathing heavily.
"its my karma.." alex says his leg burned.
he squeals in pain.
the lady walks up to a table.
she picks up a card.
"to the surviors of the game,we will supply you with a visa"
"visa?" I ask.
a random guy walks down.
"i am going to, drop out the game!"
he yells.
"theres no end to the game no matter how much you clear.." he yells.
"my visa just ended today.
and now i wish to play no longer.." he says.
the lazer shoots his straight in the head, we watch him fall.
the building lights turn off.
we walk closer to the man.
"when ur visa expires...you must return to the game or.." the lady says.
"our visas will end too.." alex says.
"we've got three days." Karube says.
"if you dont wanna die...you'll have to continue playing the game.." the lady says.
i look up.
i think, im not gonna die yet..
