"Alright, so any ideas?" DreamXD said to the endermites that gathered around him while he paced back and forth on the grey rug in the center of his bedroom.

There was no shocking part in the fact that his room would look like a mix of the overworld, nether and the end realm. On his desks there were dozens of overworld artifacts that he allows no one except him to get his hands on. The mosses were dimly illuminated from the glowberries that hung against the Window frame, right in front of the silver curtains that flowed gracefully with the cold breeze.

Right under the glowberries stood the various kinds of crystals retrieved from the overworld, by endermen who fortunately managed to venture out of the end realm to see places far beyond before their homes were eventually sealed. One particular type of crystal intrigued the dirty blonde's curiosity once more; amethyst. Although not the strongest of minerals, it fascinated the young God's mind, due to how bright it could shine even in the dark.

The rest of the desk has a bunch of miscellaneous items all collected from the trades he had with the endermen that possess these treasures from every corner of the overworld. He had lanterns from local villages, he had beautiful florals and plants such as the azalea flowers, he has vines that come from the dense jungles, he bad powdered snow that comes from the mountains, known for it's biting cold temperature and the puncturing ice terrains.

The other remining parts of his room looked similar to the 'mess' that was on his desk, it was all meaningful to him, reminding him of the wonderful world outside of his home, and how fortunate it would be for him if he were to ever explore it.

'He watched as tears dropped down solemnly on the face of the boy who he called his own, eyes stern and undefeated, striking a dominant stare at him. No matter how hard his 'best friend' tried, he knew that he couldn't hide his emotions, his face spoke of a sudden hostility that was unknown to him, but his eyes could spell every word for the definition of 'hurt'.

"Just say you hate me." He said

The heartless leader stood his ground, he wasn't going to let the emotions of his dear one get the better of him, he finally had gotten his feelings to the side and now he's not going to let any walls down just for his best friend.

He responded with complete silence, his mouth obliged to stay shut. He forced himself to look unaffected.

And with that, his 'best friend' who he loved for so long and his brother left him to wither away at his own actions.

He stood there watching as the 2 most important people of his lives left him forever, the 2 men he grew up with, 2 men he fought in battle alongside with, but in the end, emotions never win.

Because despite his emotionless face, despite not shedding a single tear from his eyes and not a single whimper or cry from his lips...

His heart could never be healed again without the one he loved.'

No matter how many times DreamXD read this book, he always loved every part of it, intrigued by the topic and complicated storyline that takes twists and turns every few chapters or so. It was never a predictable story, it wasn't a cliche story where there's a protagonist and an antagonist, everyone is equally evil and equally good in the book and it's only about a matter of perspective.

However, he will never be able to experience the feeling of love, the feeling of having another individual wrap their arms around his torso and taste the lips of someone he would dearly promise to spend his life with. He was curious and wondered over the idea of how his life would've been if he wasn't an end god, if he was a mortal, or any kind of creature in the overworld, he would be happy. The thoughts of having no wings, no flight, no teleportation didn't scare him as he thought his powers meant nothing to him compared to the life that he yearns for, a life that he would love to live.

"You know soon father's going to choose who becomes the guardian of the Ender eye right?" A blonde young girl stands leaning against the doorframe to XD's room. Her eyes were an ombré of dark turquoise to lime. A part of her hair was braided across her head, leaving the rest to flow against her back like a waterfall. She wore a white loose dress that stopped right above her knee and a purple cape that rested on her shoulder, embroidered with the crests of the ender dragon and the Enderdalian family.

'Goddamnnit forgot to close the door again.' DreamXD felt disturbed from getting interrupted while he was trying to read his book...for the thousandth time.

"Of course he's going to give it to you. You're the 'perfect child'. " he lowered his book down as DristaXD walked into the room, closing the door behind her.

"Well you are technically older than me, and by the rules-"

"Yes I know, but I know dad doesn't see me as someone who can be a responsible god." He said, cutting off his younger sister's words. She looked at him sternly.

"Dream."

"Drista." And with that, DreamXD lifted his book up and started reading again.

"I'm serious, so put the book down. I know you don't like talking about this, but we have to." She looked at DreamXD forcing him to place the book aside and listen to what she had to say.

"Do you know why I don't want to talk about this? It's because I CLEARLY know that I have not shown enough responsibility to be able to wield the eye of ender. It's because of that that I know perfectly that I would have no chance to ever leave the end and experience what life is like on the overworld. Is that clear enough for you?"

He ranted out, but as soon as he stopped speaking, he realized his mistake.

"Sorry. Misdirected anger." He looked to the side, admiring whatever's outside his window frame, ignoring to face his sister.

"You probably should've told dad this y'know."

"But I didn't, because why would he listen anyways." He replied with a monotone voice.

Drista sighed and said, "Father is aware that as soon as you get your hands on the eye, you would leave to the overworld in no time. He knows you'd go off exploring the overworld recklessly."

"Exactly. And that is why I KNOW that he won't pass down the eye to me." DreamXD said, emphasizing on the words 'I know'.

Then silence filled the room. There was no denying to what Drista said, because that is what definitely would happen if DreamXD ever got to wield the eye of ender.

"I don't like being the 'perfect child'." Drista broke the silence with these words coming out of her mouth.

"Takes a no brainer to figure that out." DreamXD replied while still reading the book, not looking away for even a second.

"Please take this seriously, Dream."

"I am!"

"Then listen to me. I'll help you convince father. I'll help you retrieve the eye of ender."

Dream looked at his sister with slight hope beginning to form in his eyes. Maybe there was going to be hope after all.
