In typical Uchiha fashion, dinner was absolutely perfect. Truly something you would see from a movie or one of those cheesy holiday commercials.

It's clear Mikoto had slaved in the kitchen the entire day from the looks of the feast on the table. She was exhausted.

But she would never allow her new neighbors to see that. The day pigs fly is the day you see an Uchiha falter.

As soon as Itachi and Sasuke walked through the front door of their home, they were rushed to get showered and ready for their guests to arrive. They didn't dare say a word in protest as they went to their respective rooms, and began putting on their Sunday best.

While tucking his dark blue polo shirt into his slacks, a light tapping pulled Sasuke's attention towards his window.

With a sigh and a roll of his eyes, he walked over to his window, pulling it open to reveal his ever so annoying, yet enticing, blonde neighbor.

Naruto had his eyebrows furrowed in a concentrated stare, his tongue slightly peaking out from his lips as he was about to throw another cheerio at his neighbor's window.

The sudden movement of the glass caused Naruto to jump slightly. Looking over at Sasuke, his eyes lit up, a big smile spreading across his face.

"Finally. I feel like I went through, like, half the fucking box over here trying to get your attention."

Sasuke rolled his eyes at the blue eyed teenager before looking down at the ground below him. Sure enough, there was quite the pile of cereal down there, some even still sitting on his window sill.

If raccoons get into my room now, I'm beating your ass.

"What do you want, moron?" Sasuke sighed, eyeing the tanned blonde across from him. Said blonde was now mindlessly shoveling handfuls of dry cereal into his mouth.

"Oi, quit eating! We're about to have dinner, dumbass", Sasuke grumbled at Naruto.

Naruto chewed slowly, shrugging lazily as he gazed at the dark haired teen, "I'll be hungry again by then."

Sasuke glanced behind him at the alarm clock in his room. 6:45PM.

Scoffing he turned back to Naruto, "That's in fifteen minutes, idiot."

Naruto looked at Sasuke as if he just told him the most obvious thing in the world, "Duh? I knew that, genius." He smirked with an eye roll, "Trust me, I have a fast metabolism. I'll definitely be hungry again in fifteen minutes."

"Fatass," Sasuke snorted. It was then he noticed what the blonde was wearing. Sasuke scowled, "You cannot possibly be serious right now. You're not wearing that"

Naruto frowned and looked down at his outfit. He thought it was great.

After a particularly loud and messy afternoon filled with wrestling and cupcake making, Iruka had sat the Uzumaki brothers down for a proper lesson on table etiquette.

It was incredibly boring for the sixteen year old, who held the attention span of a squirrel. So of course it took Iruka much longer than he had hoped, constantly being interrupted by the hyperactive teen.

Iruka really hoped he'd be able to take Naruto out to get some proper clothes that didn't make it obvious the kid was a drug addicted orphan, but alas, time was not on his side this day.

Instead, Iruka begged Naruto to wear something of his brother's.

But of course, the stubborn blonde did not listen. And instead took it upon himself to pick out his "nicest" white t-shirt and some pale orange patterned cotton shorts.
