A Beautiful Minaj Love

Okay this is my sequal to Bad Barbz Club.

" Lyric get up!" Nicki shouted from downstairs. I got up and put on my clothes. It's been almost a year since I've become apart of the family. Things have been really nice in a weird way since I've moved in. i had to adjust to my new life. After putting on my clothes i brushed my teeth and washed my face before heading downstairs. When i was halfway down i could see Nicki walking around talking on the phone with who, it seemed to be,Joyce.I just let her finish her conversation and went into the kitchen to eat breakfast. As I walked into the pantry the first thing I saw was Nicki's beefaroni. I just kept walking inside and looked for what cereal I wanted. I just picked up frosted flake's and kept it moving. Nicki joined me in the kitchen as I made my bowl.

"Morning Barb'

'Morning Nicki"

"You know you can call me mom right?"

"Yes, but i still need time"

"Fine with me, just letting you know it's ok"

"okay,thanks" I say sitting down and began eating.

"Anything interesting happening today with you?"

"other than going with Shae and Gabby to the mall and hanging out, nothing. Why?"

"Just asking, but i will warn you that i may be late coming home"

"Why?"

" I have to do the show today"

"Oh"

" Yeah so Gabby may be here today to be with you the whole night'

'Okay"

I finished eating my cereal and put it in the sink. Nicki looked at me as I did so. I could tell she was getting annoyed, she hates it when i don't drink the milk in my bowl. She says i waist it alot, i usually just laugh at her reaction. Nicki went with me into the llivingroom and we sat and watched tv. I liked how she watches tv for some reason. Whenever she sits up and looks at it she looks so poised and whenever she wants to be slouchy while watching she still looks as if shes upright. After an hour of watching some shows the doorbell rung. I got up from my seat and answered it. Shae smiled as i opened the door.

"Ready to go?"

"yeah, just let me get my stuff".I ran up to my room and grabbed my purse and phone after putting on my shoes. Nicki was outside talking to both Shae and Gabby. I assumed she was talking to Gabby about later on tonight. Once I walked out the house they both got into the car and Nicki gave me a hug and kiss on my forehead as I left. Gabby pulled off after i got into the car. She found a parking spot and all three of us got out and went inside.

"So how's living with Nicki?" Shae asked as we passed a few stores.

" It's great"

"Sure it is" Gabby said as we entered a store. I laughed and looked at a few racks with them. We each tried on a few outfits and looked in mirrors to see which we liked the best. I paid for two of the outfits I liked and waited for Shae and Gabby. They both came out a few minutes later and paid for their outfits. As we walked out I saw this perfume store called essence that I saw Nicki's perfume in. Usually I would have begged to get it, but now that I'm actually her daughter I have control to get over it. We spent two more hours shopping then we decided to leave. Gabby drove to the house and we went inside with our bags.

" I may have to leave later to get back to the office" Shae said dropping her bags and going into the kitchen with us.

"Why?" I asked

"I took on this internship for Kimora Lee Simmons and theres some things I have to do before the day is over with"

"Must be cool"

"It is but theres alot to do in one day"

"Well atleast you're happy doing whatever you do"

"yeah, actually I have to go now" She said walking towards the door. Me and Gabby followed her as she got her things.

"Do you need me to drive you?" Gabby asked as she opened the door for her

"No, my moms about to pull up any second now"

"Okay, well it was nice hanging out with you today" I said hugging her.

"You too" she said hugging back

After she walked out the house her mom pulled up to the gate and we opened it for her. Shae got inside the car and left. Gabby and I went back into the house and sat on the couch watching tv.

"Do you really like our family?" Gabby asked looking at me

"Yes, your family is the best family i've had so far"

"It couldn't have been that bad with your other foster families"

"Uhh yes it was, can we not talk about this right now?" I asked getting up

"Sure"

"I'm just gonna go take my shower" I said heading upstairs. I picked out my gown and ran hot shower water. After about thirty minutes of showering I got out and got dressed. It was almost ten o'clock and Nicki still wasn't home. Gabby was laying on the couch wraped in a snuggie looking at tv. I just decided to stay in my room and write in my journal. I cut on my iPods music. For some reason I have to do alot of things with music around, it's like having a phone, I just have to have it. After writing a few things I then remembered that my dad was going to stop by the next day. He visits me alot now that we are in touch with eachother. I feel as if we are closer than ever,but there's just one thing. I know he has a crush.......on Nicki. He told me just a few days before we left after the program to go to Trinidad so I could meet Nicki's family. I wasn't really surprised because at the graduation Nicki looked alittle thirsty if you ask me(lol jk recap)Nicki looked as if she was alittle flirtatious with him while we were eating. To me they seem like they could be a cute couple, but I wil always think my mom and dad were always the best of couples. He told me they were married almost fifteen years. That's a long time if you ask me. Anyways I heard Gabby scream from downstairs so I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. When I walked inside the livingroom Nicki was up against the wall laughing her heart out while Gabby was on the floor wrapped in her snuggie rubbing her forehead. At that sight I knew what happened, I joined in Nicki's laughter alittle bit.

"Okay I'm going home" Gabby said getting off the floor and getting her stuff. Nicki finally calmed down enough to say bye then she started laughing again. I said bye and locked the door.

"Nicki did you really have to scare her?"

(Nicki continues laughing then stops after a few moments)

"Yes, Come on, Gabby's reactions are so funny"

"She was sleep wasn't she?"

"Yes, and that was a better time than any to scare her"

I just shook my head then laughed to myself.

"Well I'm taking a shower kiddo" She said heading upstairs. I went up right after her after turning off the tv. I went and laid in my bed; I didn't realize I left my iPod playing until I got in my room. I turned it off then laid down. Just moments later Nicki came in my room and woke me up. She told me goodnight and kissed my forehead. I think I make her have more love in her heart for some reason. Just seconds after she left I began feeling my eyes getting heavy again and next thing I know, I was asleep.
