Nicki's POV:

This morning I woke up with a smile on my face. Just for the thought of me and Brian. As much as I tried not to smile I couldn't! I got dressed in one of my mini casual outfits since me and Lyric had to stop by my cousin's house. I met Lyric downstairs and it wasn't the most comfortable morning i've had in my days. She kept looking at me as I made my breakfast.

"Something wrong?" I asked alittle impatient and annoyed by her stares.

"No, Something wrong with you?"

"No,Why?"

"Nicki i know you wanna smile, you can't hide your morning glow" She said pouring her milk in the sink.

"Lyric you know I hate it when you waist milk like that"

"Don't change the subject"

"What subject?"

"The subject that you are happy and I don't know why"

"Lyric I don't even know why"

"Yeah right" she says then leaves to get her things. I just giggled to myself knowing that she already knows why im so happy. Just as I sat down to eat my breakfast the doorbell rung. I didn't want to seem like I was in a hurry because of my excitement, but I couldn't help it. As I opened the door I could see Brian's smile already shine.

"Morning Nicki" he said happily

"Morning" I said letting him in

"Where's Lyric?"

"Getting the rest of her things"

"Oh ok, You know I was going to call you last night about the plans for our date, but I didn't know if you were still up or not'

"Oh yeah, well sometimes I'm up late and sometimes i'm not, but you could have still called'

"Ok, well how about later tonight?"

"no offense Brian, but wouldn't you like to surprise me with our date? I mean it's just a suggestion"

"Oh you wanna be surprised now huh?"

*Nicki laughed*"Its just a suggestion of mine"

""Well i'm glad you suggested it"

'Ok im ready" Lyric said coming downstairs."Did I miss something again?"

"Not yet" Nicki said winking at Brian

"Sureeee" Lyric said grabbing her bag

"Oh umm I have to pick you up after school today" I said opening the door for them

"Ok bye Nicki" she said giving me a hug. Brian surprisingly gave me a kiss on the cheek before walking out the door.

"Was that surprising enough for you?"

"Uhh yeah" I said still surprised. He smiled and left in the car and drove off with Lyric. it took me a while to get back in the house from re-thinking over the little smooch. I just went and laid down while watching tv.

Brian's POV:

I can't believe I kissed Nicki like that. I mean it wasn't just a surprise for her. It was a surprise for me too. I think maybe even Lyric, if she was paying attention. I just drove her to school and left for work.

(Hours later)

Lyric's POV:

School was so exhausting,but atleast I get to see my somewhat new family. Nicki is suppose to pick m up instead of my dad. I've been feling really down lately about leaving them alone together. like everytime I leave to do something they always up to something. So i don't trust to leave them alone, but then again i can trust them to not do anything wrong. Then again, once their on their date, who can watc them. Or even make sure they don't do anything. Just then I saw Nicki's car pull up and I hopped into the front seat.

"Hey" I said putting on my seatbelt

"Hey barb, how was school?"

"Fine, how was your day?"

"Great and relaxing"

"Bet it was" I say as she pulls up to my cousins house. We got out and as we went in everyone greeted us. I was shocked to see that even the crew came to the meeting. I sat inbetween drake and twist. They kept playing with my hair and teasing me which had us laughing the whole time Nicki and everyone else were going over the plans for the party. After it was over me and Nicki said bye to everyone and left. She stopped and picked us up some chinese food which was weird because she barely ever gets takeout. As we were heading home nicki stayed on her phone texting. I just went inside and ate my food.

Nicki's POV:

As I drove home Brian started texting me. Usually I wouldn't text or talk while driving,but we were pretty much the only ones driving in the lane we were in and no one was by us(Thank goodness because like she said she is an aggressive driver lol, if u watched jay leno this year you would understand) Lyric went into the house and ate her food as I went to my room.

N: just got home with my big baby lol

B: she not only your big baby

N: Well we didn't have her together

B: And what if we did

N: i don know let me go ask her that lol jk :p

B: Very funny

N: IKR!

B: I hope you be as beautiful as you are now on our date

N: Aww are you sayin im going to look ugly on the date?

B: No just sayin i want you to look better than me still

N: Well that wont be hard at all :P

B: Yeah i know :P

N: Well i can't wait

B: me either

With that Nicki ate her dinner with Lyric and went to bed.
