The Truth

Nicki's POV:

I can't get through to my thoughts on what the hell is going on! One minute Gabby is here and everything is good with me and Brian and now Gabby is coming from his office from being, pretty much fucking kidnapped! Along with some other shit! Im so frustrated at all this! I pulled up to my front gate and put in my code then went in. I will have to change it as soon as I get in the house so Brian wont get in. As soon as I parked my car I got out changing the code as the girls went inside, with me following after them.

"So what's going on Gabby?" I ask as we all walk into the livingroom going to sit down. Gabby then looks and read through the papers.

"What ar the papers for?" Lyric asks as she scrolls through them still.

"Secrets, really big secrets that wont be secrets anymore once we find out. Now ya'll know i've never really liked Brian and if theirs something that helps me not like him even more then something is going on that he is hiding. Im just gone say this, Nicki im doing this so you wont end up with a bad guy and Lyric i just dont want you hurt."

Gabby's POV:

As I keep looking through the papers and reading through them I see a picture of Lyric's mom. She looked just like the one that was with Brian! Both Nicki and Lyric stare at the expression on my face.

"Whats that face for?" Lyric asks. I just turn the photo around to her.

"Omg! This is the most prettiest picture i've ever seen of my mom!" she spazzes out.

"Lyric, im sorry to burst your bag of chips and all but your mom isnt dead." I say looking at her. She looks back at me confused just like Nicki.

"What do you mean she isnt dead!?" she says sounding alittle angered.

"I mean shes alive and with your dad"

"What do you mean by with her dad!?" Nicki sounds with a more bass angered tone. By the looks on their face, its just scary.

"Like shes alive and with him, are they dating? I dont know about alk that" I look and read through the papers more, then look at Lyric.

"Lyric apparently some people are after you and your mom. They're after you and her because you have your necklace, the one you two have the same as.-" she looks at her necklace" Its supose to be really expensive and rare and one of the best in the country!"

"Thats weird" she says

"People are after that necklace who can pretty much kill yall themselves. It says to protect you your mom pretended to be dead after a fake car accident and sent you away.

"Okay and what did Brian have to do with it?" Nicki asked. I just looked at her.

"Make sure Lyric ended up with you" we all just look at eachother.

Lyric sat down with her hands to her head dropping the picture to the floor. Nicki sat next to her  rubbing her back, comforting her.

"It also says alot of information about Lyric, most likely that you never knew about." I say taking a seat.

Lyric's POV:

I just sat there taking the comfort of Nicki and thinking. I then remembered everything like it was just yesterday.

"The car accident" i whisper

"What?" Nicki asks

"The car accident" i repeat. "I remember everything clearly"  I say standing as I fold my arms.

"I was six and my mom was in such a rush to leave our house. I had on a backpack with most of my moms things and my clothes and other stuff that she knew i would need. We got into the car and my dad gave me a hug and kiss telling me about how much he loved me. When we left he gave me a key and my mom drove off. We were on a freeway, it seemed as if we were the only ones too. I was asleep for a while, when i woke up she acted like she didnt wanna pay attention to the road, so she paid attention to me when i woke up. She closed her eyes knowing what was about to happen, and trying to protect me also, cuz' i was so small. The car flipped over a few times.   When i opened my eyes, still alive, she was gone and i was in a dark car. By that time i never seen them again and i was apart of the adoption system." I then take a seat breathing in and out deeply.

"Damn! You just remembered all of that!?" Gabby says.

"Yes, it just came to me"

"Wait! You mentioned a key?" Gabby asks

"Yes, why?"

"Do you still have it?"

"Yes, can you bring it down here? Actually all of it?"

I run upstairs gathering all of my old things and bring them down. Gabby then examines them.

"Lyric, your key goes to all of this! Including your necklace"

"I cant take this, im going to bed!" Nicki says leaving the room.

Nicki's POV:

I couldnt take all that was going on, or atleast my heart couldnt. The one guy i think is different from other guys actually is the same and the one guy i actually give a chance to! Im so damn mad and frustrated! Gabby is my protector but i dont need to know everything right away.Brian seemed so different though, i hope this is all a dream and if it isnt he better not come near me.

Lyric's POV:

"I hate that im finding this out Gabby!" I yell standing up.

"But wouldnt you rather know!?" I wouldnt want you or Nicki getting hurt or heart broken. I'd be damned if anyone kills yall too!"

"Yeah okay, well i need sleep for school, so night" i say starting to walk upstairs

"Night"

Gabby's POV:

If Nicki or Lyric is mad I really dont care cuz' Im the one helping them and they're the ones who are missing out. I will find out everything about their scheme if its the last thing i do!
