Regan looked awfully tired. I knew she didn't get any sleep after I left her and honestly I didn't either. I could see the fear in her eyes when she came to me her eyes bloodshot and cheeks stained with fresh tears. I've never seen her like this the way she broke down in my arms broke my heart. "You look pale are you feeling okay?" Will asked putting the back of his hand against my forehead. "I'm fine" slapping his hands away. "Someone's grouchy is it your . . ." I stopped him mid sentence. "No, I just didn't get a good night sleep. My brain wouldn't shut up" I was worried about Regan all night and thinking about what I should say to Kurt when I ask him if the girls can switch cabins and have Regan take their place. "Thinking about how we're beat those shadyside trash at color war" Annie and Becky smiled devilishly.

Color war is the biggest event of summer camp. Sunnyville always wins cause we cheat we take people out of their spots and pretend that we didn't get captured even though we did. Every shadysider knows that we cheat but we lie and the sunnyville camp counselors defend us. We always won the argument ' you don't have proof that we did' we always say. Even though every shadysider will tell the same story that we weren't following the rules. We bicker at each other till they give up leaving us with the win even though we didn't deserve it. " Yeah, something like that".

I went on a hunt looking for Kurt till I spotted him talking to Cindy Berman outside her cabin . I'll say that the girls and I aren't getting along that we need some space. No, that won't work he probably see us everyday together. What if I say our cabin is infested with pincher bugs no, every building is bound to have bugs we're in the middle of nowhere it happens bugs are part of nature.

When Cindy walked away I walked up to Kurt " hey Kurt" he didn't look like he was in a good mood but he never really is. " What's up?" how can I word this without sounding suspicious. It's a big red flag about me wanting to room with a shadysider he'll wonder why or he wouldn't care.

I don't know how guys work " Annie and Becky have been keeping me up the past couple of nights snoring. The perks of being a light sleeper" I chuckled nervously.

He just crossed his arms staring at me with a straight blank face " I was wondering if the girls can switch cabins. So, I can have some peace. " I prayed that he didn't notice I was lying through my face.

" You never had a problem with them snoring before" Kurt said.

" It just started yeah, they're going through puberty. They had their first period and" he stopped me after the word period.

That word grosses men out for some reason " ew, okay I don't need to know anymore. Anyone you have in particular you want to be your new roommate?".

"Um how about the new girl in cabin five. I don't know her. So, we won't get on each other's nerves".

"If you want them to switch it'll come at a cost".

" What kind of cost?".

" Money, how much you got?".

" Um, like ten bucks".

" you won't tell anyone about this. I'll talk to the other camp counselors tonight and I'll let you know" I smiled widely.

" My lips are sealed. Thanks Kurt" I squealed with happiness.

I got to tell Regan when I got back to camp Joan was calling my name " Sheila, you forgot to pick up your tie dye shirt" I grabbed it from her.

" Thanks" I mumbled.

I can give her the shirt plus the good news she's gonna be so happy. We're gonna be so happy.

At lights out I'm waiting for her at our spot. I put her t-shirt in a paper bag sitting down on the green grass waiting for Regan. When hands cover my eyes from behind " Regan?" I said quietly.

" Regan. That bitch is shadyside trash. You're waiting for trash?" the guy voice said.

I couldn't speak I didn't know who it was afraid to turn around " it's me. I do a good guys impression don't I?" Regan laughed.

Now I can feel and hear my heart beating " you scared me don't do that. I thought you were someone else" lightly shoving her.

" Guess what?" I said.

"What?".

" I talked to Kurt today".

" And what ?".

" He said . . .".

" What did he say your torturing me".

" He said he'll talk to the other camp counselors and he'll let me know. I think you'll be in my cabin in the next couple of days!" we hugged each other squealing with pure joy.

" What's that?" Regan asked pointing to the bag.

" A present. something I made in art and crafts for you" she smiled grabbing the bag watching as she pulled out the t-shirt.

" A shirt it has my favorite color. I like the design" she put the the t-shirt over her that she was wearing.

" How does it look?" the shirt was clinging to her chest making her breasts look even bigger.

" Makes your tits look nice" I smirked.

" Only you can comment. Thank you I love it" putting her lips on mine.

" I'm sorry about the other day. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings" she looked down.

" Ziggy's my best friend and your my girlfriend. I don't want you guys to fight both of you are very important to me" I grabbed her hands.

" She already got me back" she looked at me with confusion.

" What, what are you talking about?" I thought they tell each other everything. Well almost everything.

" She already pranked me earlier".

" What did she do?".

" Poured red paint in my shampoo bottle. So, I looked like Carrie when she came home from prom".

" I'll talk to her".

" No, I have to get her back. I can't let her win" I defended.

" Why, do you guys hate each other so much?".

" We just always have. She's shadyside garbage and deserves whats coming to her" I hate her with every ounce of my being.

Regan stood up suddenly " Am I garbage too? In case you forgot I'm a shadysider as well guess I'm shadyside trash too" I wasn't referring to her.

" No, I wasn't talking about you. I love you, Your different than them" she grunted with frustration.

" No, I'm not. I had the same up bringing as all the shadysiders. You don't know what it's like not being able to get a new outfit every weekend, to sleep in a warm house in the winter, have warm showers, not having to go to bed with your stomach growling cause we don't have enough money to put on the table. That's all our lifes, that's her life and that's my life" my mouth opened but words didn't come out.

" If I told you that day when we first met on the hill that I was from shadyside. Would you have continued to talk to me, buy me that root beer float?" I tried to grab her hands but she pulled them out of my grasp.

" Yes, I knew you were special. We have a different connection then most people it's because we're soulmates" I explained.

" That may be true but when you call Ziggy or any other shadysider trash or any other mean names. Don't forget You're calling me that too. Maybe I entered your life to change your classist opinion of us try to be nice to Ziggy who knows maybe you guys can be friends and maybe you'll might like her".
