Callie's POV
When he takes his hood down he reveals his beautiful curly hair. He looks at me with his hazel eyes "I haven't introduced myself I'm cassie" I say smiling. "I'm Kai it's nice to meet you cassie" he responds, "It was fun racing you," I say trying to strike up a conversation. "You know something Cassie you are very interesting," he says surprising me as we pull back up to where everyone is. I put my mask on and he puts his hood back on, "Hold that thought" I say before he can say anything. "John take my car back please," I ask one of my crew members the nod and I throw them the keys. "Come on ill show you the way to the place," I say, he nods and pulls off again. He pulls over and stays silent for a second, "You should drive I am bad with following directions he chuckles. I nod and we switch spots, once we're all settled I take off. "So I'm very interesting would you care to elaborate," I ask, I am more social behind the wheel. "You see I'm usually undefeated with whoever I race, only one person can beat me without fail," he says and I widen my eyes in surprise. "Wow that is very interesting," I say speechless, " yeah so I'm guessing you're undefeated," he says confidently "No I have been beaten many times just none in the past two years," I say nervously "I see losing as an opportunity for improvement," I say smiling. "I like your way of thinking" he responds, "Yeah l try to look at positives," I say humbled. "Oh, here we are," I say pointing to the warehouse looks like we're the first to arrive. I look across the street and see Manny "Oh shit" I say turning off the car and ducking down. Kai gets down too "Why are you hiding," he asks, "I'm trying to avoid the person across the street I didn't think he'd be here" I whisper. "Okay but you do realize it's night and they went inside," he says with a smirk. I pop my head back up and see him gone, "Whew I should really be more aware of my surroundings" I say relieved. We get out of the car and go into the warehouse, I give him the tour. We go back outside where mine and his car are, So I've been thinking, I don't want your car all you have to do is join my crew and you owe me a favor what do you say" I ask. He thinks about it for a second "Sure I am moving here anyways why not get something to do" he says. "Awesome well welcome," I say as I look down at my phone and see it's almost ten "Hey Kai, sorry it seems our time is up," I say chuckling nervously. "Okay thanks for showing me the place," he says smiling "no problem come by tomorrow at like 12," I say getting in my car. I start driving and get a good distance away from the warehouse before I start changing again. I take everything off and then start driving again. I make it home and park my car in the driveway I see Dylan come outside. I step out of my car and wave at him "hey you're home later than usual" he says looking at me curiously, "Yeah I got caught up I was being social meeting new people" I say nervously
