Chapter 31

Callie's POV
I get back in my car and start heading to the house. Once I arrive I see everyone's cars outside I open the door to see Dylan, Kai, and Jane sitting in the living room talking but they all stop once they see me. I then walk upstairs and see Jackie and Manny in the hallway talking. "Callie" Manny calls out I ignore him and continue walking.

I see that my brothers door is open but I walk by it without hesitation. "Callie is that you" I hear him jumping out of bed. I also ignore him and head for my room. Once I get in I lock the door and immediately start packing a to go bag. I grab as much as I can as fast as I can. I am pushing everything in when I hear a knock on my door, "Callie please let's talk" I hear Grayson say from outside the door. "You can say what you need from out there" I say as I continue to pack.

"Callie look I may have overreacted I didn't mean what I said I just don't want you around him" he said and it broke my heart to know that he was sad, but I have to do what I have to do. I grab my bag and put it over my shoulder "It doesn't matter we broke up you won't be seeing him" I say opening the door. He sees me and his eyes widen "What's this" he asks "I'm going to stay with someone else for the time being" I say moving past him "Callie it was an acident I didn't mean it" I hear his voice break "please don't leave we can talk" he says and my heart shatters "I'm sorry Gray I really am" I say as I run downstairs and out the door.

I get in my car and start driving I then start bawling. I arrive at the wearhouse and the sun is beginning to set, I didn't feel like putting on my contacts so I just put on sunglasses. I go in and some people are leaving, I see Tyler with Eric's neice "Hey Mia you've met Cassie right" Tyler says walking over to me and Mia nods "She was looking for tio" she says in her cute little voice "Yeah that's probably because Cassie is the best driver" Tyler says rubbing Mia's head. "Really better than you" she asks "Yes even better than me" he says chuckling "Can I see" she asks. "Maybe when mommy lets you" he says picking her up "come on Cassie has a lot of work to do" Tyler says and Mia waves goodbye.

"I go to Erics office "Hey boss I'm back" I say as I walk in "Hey Cassie" he says I look to my side and see someone else in there. My eyes widen as I see the person "This is-"
"Jenifer" I say cutting him off in shock. "You know eachother" he asks "um- well.. yeah" I am fubbling over my words. Soon shock and surprise turns into down right rage.

"What the fuck is she doing here" I ask with murderous eyes. "She is the one that challenged you" he said. "Yeah and you better bring your A game because I will leak the info I have on you" she says in her annoying cocky voice. She walks to the side of Eric "and who knows after people find out maybe they'll replace you with me" she says rubbing her hand against Eric's chest. "Maybe even this handsome devil or even the one downstairs with the sweet little kid" she says getting closer and closer to Eric.

I have never moved so fast I had pushed her and she hit the ground. I got on top of her "First of all if you ever touch my boss or talk about any of my people again I will fucking gut you like a fish and second you have no dirt on me that I'm afraid of" I say and she is looking up at me terrified.
