Doctor Anthony's POV

Two dead. I can't but feel this is my fault. After waiting the raptors out, we started to walk again. "What are we going to do Steven? Tom and John are dead. Who's next on that list?" Someone said. I think his name is Max but I don't know. "Enough. We are strong, tough and smart. If what the doc says is true then we follow him." Steven said. I looked at Steven. He has brown hair, green eyes and a lot of army like gear. Steven caught up to me. "Speaking of which, what's our plan?" he asked. I stopped. "Shh. Listen." I said. I heard jeeps and gun fire. "What in the blazes?! The Army is NOT aloud here!" I yelled. We started to run towards the noise. "I think they met the T-Rex." someone said. "Hurry, to the docs while we still have a chance." I stated. We all booked it down the hill, in the opposite direction of the T-Rex. Once we made it to the docs we powers up a boat. Once the boat started we stopped moving because oh a noise. Spinosaures. I ran up front and started driving away. Steven did a quick head count. "Hey! Where is Aaron?" he said worried. I looked and saw a man running. "HEY HEY DON'T LEAVE ME!" he yelled. He dove into the water. He started to swim but the Spino picked him right out of the water and well... Another person to add to my guilt.

We stopped at the next island. "Can everyone just stop?" I asked. They stopped moving and looked at me. "I want to say somethings. This island is safe, and I'm sorry for your loses. I really mean that." I said. I looked at Steven. I felt compelled to hug him. He looked super hot in army clothing. His luscious brown curls and emerald green eyes. Everything said yes about him. It started to rain. To be honest with myself, I could feel myself getting horny. I felt "it" rise. Shit, got to hide that. "You hear that? Its people!" Someone yelled. We ran towards it. People. Everyone we evact. "Perfect." Steven said. I stopped. Everyone looked back around at me. I felt myself getting cold. Really cold but hot at the same time. I stumbled a bit, then fell down to the ground. "Get him!" Someone yelled. My vision blurred as I fell into a deep ocean of darkness.

Steven POV
I watch him fall to the ground and yet I felt empty. Sure, because of him I lost three men but... He feels the pain too. I can see it. He is selfless. We hauled him into the base. A doctor already started helping him.

The doctor came out. "It was from a poisonous plant known as hacurbals. Pronouced as hack-your-balls." he said. Some of my men broke out into laughter. I chuckled. I walked upstairs and outside to see big birds? Everyone wasn't moving but they had fear written on their faces. I slowly walked back down the stairs. I ran to the doc. "Uh doc? What are those big birds?" I asked him. "Big birds? You mean the pterodactyl? They shouldn't be here. They live in the bird house cages up in the mountains." he said. "I thought you said this island is safe?" I stamped. "Wait, are you saying..." he didn't finish the sentence. There were screams of terror. "My employers must have failed their jobs because they are not supposed to be here." he said.
We all ran outside. People were flooding inside. "Now what?!" Bob asked frusterated. "There is a communication center about 8 miles from here. If we run through the jungle we can make it. The trees would make it hard for the pterodactyls." he said. We nodded. We ran and lucky, no one got grabbed. We kept walking.
"Watch out!" Wade yelled. One of those bird things came down and snatched Bob. "I thought you-" "Could you shut the fuck up? Like I don't already feel bad and guilty enough. And it's also not my fault you signed up for this! You were all fucking warned!!" I was cut off by the doc. That is true. We were all warned and we don't listen and we're blaming the doc when it isn't his fault. We remained quiet for the rest of the walk.

When we reach the communication center there was a slight problem.

A big T-Rex. And raptors.
