I bounced on the balls of my feet, shaking my hands out, trying to rid myself of the nerves. It was my first lesson back with the Juniors after my week-long break.

I decided to make my return a surprise so I left Nathan standing at the front of the room. Joseph said that he would be with me for the next few sessions so it was perfect for my plan.

Slowly all the Juniors filed in and surprisingly they were all on time. Nathan got them in the line I'd put them in on the 1st lesson and that's when I walked out of the storage room calling "Surprise bitches!"

Whispers broke out as soon as they saw me and I rolled my eyes. I heard Cameron whisper "I thought she was dead" to Benjamin. "Oh please. I'm actually quite hard to kill thank you" I said indignantly. But I was relieved to hear that it seemed Joseph had kept the real reason for my break a secret.

I looked over the line of Juniors, surveying them. I noticed that Nathan had forced them all to get the guild-regulated haircut. Also, all noticeable defining pieces of jewellery and clothing were removed; a nose piercing - gone, a bandana - gone, a watch, a ring, all of it gone. They all now looked like actual members of this guild. Not only that but they looked every bit the assassin they were training to be. I was impressed with Nathan's abilities.

Still, they looked the part but I wasn't convinced they could act it. "Drop, 20 push-ups" I repeated the first proper command I ever gave them. They all dropped and did their 20 with only small amounts of struggling. Improvement, I couldn't help but think not sure if I was proud of the boys or Nathan.

As they stood and waited for the next thing to do Owen, one who I knew to be one of Aiden's lackies, said "You gonna tell us why you disappeared?"

I ignored him but when I went to start a drill Aiden spoke up. "Isn't it obvious? She's too weak for this. Great assassin my arse. She was probably whoring herself out to take her mind off everything" Nathan's head snapped to me, his face conveying "oh shit" and I felt every pair of eyes switching between me and Aiden, waiting for my reaction.

Calmly I stalked up to him, barely making him retreat. But that was his first mistake. His second was actually thinking he could take me on, especially after what he just said.

I punched him 3 times before he could even move. I swept his legs out from under him and he fell. I didn't give him a respite, going after him. Nathan pulled me away before I could do any real damage.

"You unstable bitch! Seems I got it wrong. She's broken," he announced. "She was too weak from the capture we all heard about. Pathetic" He spat and Nathan let go of me, looking ready to kill Aiden, but I stopped him.

"You-" I took a breath not wanting to heed to his unstable statement. "How about I show you what I went through? Trust me, if you saw what I've seen, been through what I have, you wouldn't just be broken, you'd be shattered beyond repair" I spat.

Before he could respond I stepped up and slapped him across the face. "Disrespect me like that again and even Joseph won't save you" I purposely used Joseph's name to display my advantage.

I motioned for Nathan to take him to Joseph - he could deal with him, otherwise I'd do it in the best way I'd learnt and no one would find the body.

Once Aiden was gone with Nathan, I had the rest of the class to deal with on my own. "I hope I make myself clear when I say that I'm not dealing with any more shit or someone will die"

No one could figure out how serious I was so they stayed quiet and did as I said, making the smart choice and deciding not to test me. "For Aiden's show you can all run 10 laps of the guild. Maybe that'll teach you the way things work. What affects 1 person affects you all. GO"
