"You smell weird."

Barely unable to form a word, Ladybug sneered at the taunting boy. "No, I don't," she told him shortly. "And the fact that you went close enough to smell me is weirder."

"I didn't have to get close. Anyone with you would smell it," said the blonde in a cat suit.

"Are you two having a lovers' tiff? This is no time for that!" stated a tall and muscular man.

Chat Noir and Ladybug exclaimed in unison, looking in his direction. "We're not lovers!"

Her eyes widened. "Is that, Roger?"

"I am Rogercop, and your services are no longer required. For I will replace you and Chat Noir, and maintain peace and order within Paris. Anyone who breaks the law will be punished. Justice shall be served," said Rogercop fiercely.

He demonstrated his powers by shooting handcuffs with the blasters on his arm to a citizen who was loitering. The others were picking up trashes, cleaning, driving safely, and more.

It wasn't a scene that looked too bad, but if this was done against their will, the heroes couldn't let it happen.

"Tough luck, because I won't allow you to do so. Mistakes aren't crimes, I won't allow you to imprison everyone because of simple wrongdoings!" The heroine shouted, simultaneously figuring out where the Akuma could be hiding.

"Are you questioning my authority?" His robotic voice was digging into their ears. "For that, you are under arrest. I order you to surrender your miraculous!"

"We need to hide," Chat Noir instructed.

"Pfft, you cowar—" Ladybug stopped herself, their conversation yesterday revisiting her mind. "Okay."

He looked at her in disbelief. "Really?"

"Let's just go," said the girl dismissively.

"Where are you two..." Rogercop saw several citizens having a street fight in the corner of his eye, and he approached them immediately.

They ended up in a clothing store, trying to formulate a plan. "That doesn't make any sense. Even if we can stop him from shooting with these"—Ladybug held up a pair of mittens they found in the store—"we'd still have to get close to put it on him. And we can't do that without getting hit."

Chat Noir cut in. "We need your lucky charm."

"Right...how did I forget?" Ladybug raised her eyebrows. "Lucky charm!" Spray paint fell from above their heads, falling to her hands.

She looked around, not knowing what to do for the first time. Ladybug didn't want to admit it to herself or her partner, and so she remained silent. She'd stared at it for a few seconds already but couldn't seem to figure anything out — could it be because of her shaking pupils?

"What is it?" asked Chat. "Aw, is your stupidity finally getting the best of you?" He leaned his head to the side.

"S-shut up," Ladybug snapped, rubbing her quivering shoulders. Chat Noir flinched, he'd never seen her this anxious before.

"It's okay, uh..." The boy's words faltered as he stared at the item a little longer. "Oh! Didn't you say that, even if we can cover his beams, we'd still have to get close? So, we lure him in."

Her eyes lit up. "Yes! Then..." Ladybug's vision pointed to a long-sleeved shirt, her lucky charm, Chat Noir, her yo-yo, and the mittens. "I know what to do."

"Great. Me too," he replied. "You distract him. I'll stay behind the door." The blue-eyed heroine nodded, as he handed the mittens to her.

She went outside, and began covering the shop's walls with graffiti. "Ah, I love artistic expression!" Ladybug yelled absentmindedly.
