Chapter 15: Heartbreaking moments

Third person's POV

Alberto was surrounded and Luca tried to stop them.

Daniela and Lorenzo held him back

Daniela said, "Can't you see, he needs to be stopped, he forced you to marry him, held you captive, and who knows what he'll do to you next."

Luca said, "Your wrong I love him for real."

Ercole charged but Alberto fought back, Massimo and Giulia ran in too to stop them and had to fight through the crowd.

Lorenzo said, "Luca take your grandmother and go home now."

Grandma Paguro held Luca's hand and made a come with me I have an idea face.

They left to do the plan to save Alberto, Giulia and Massimo.

Bianca saw and followed them, she was going to help.

The townspeople threw nets at Alberto making him fall to the ground, Ercole got his sharpest harpoon, stepped on Alberto so he won't get up and he raised the harpoon to his heart.

The crowd shouted, "Kill! Kill! Kill!"

Massimo with tears shouted, "Son!"

Giulia said, "Brother!"

Ercole was about to strike but then.. falling water balloons came falling out of nowhere landing on everyone to keep them distracted and Luca was freeing Alberto.

Bianca stolen a boat and got it started, Giulia noticed, she rushed to the boat.

Giulia said, "Bianca, if they see you helping they'll kill you."

Bianca said, "They won't because I'm coming with you Giulia."

She held her hand making Giulia blush, Grandma Paguro got on the boat leaving with them as well.

Luca ushered Alberto go to to the boat and he'll catch up.

Massimo saw more coming and Alberto got on the boat and shouted,

"Dad! Come on we have to leave."

Massimo took a deep breath and said,

"I love you both... take care of each other."

With those words he started the motor making the boat move fast leaving him behind.

Massimo raised his arm up, got on his knees and got on his knees,

"I sacrifice myself if you leave my family alone! And I'm the father of the kraken, so takes me instead."

Ercole said, "A really noble sacrifice a father would do, very well... capture him!"

They all threw nets, captured him, and dragged him away, Ercole knocked him out.

Luca tried to stop them but his parents pulled him away.

Giulia shouted with tears, "Papa! No! Papa!"

Alberto with tears shouted, "DAD!"

Giulia and Alberto hugged each other as they cried their eyes out.

Alberto said, "Don't worry dad, I'll save you and being you home."

They went back to the island.

With Luca

I kept being dragged by my parents until I manage to push them away, and ran back to save Massimo but he was gone.

Daniela and Lorenzo followed and Daniela said,

"Luca! Stop this! It's for the best, their sea monsters!"

Luca snapped and pushed his mother really hard that she fell to the ground.

Luca shouted, "The real monsters are you guys and the townspeople! I should've never came back! And I'm one of them!"

Lorenzo said, "Luca stop this now, we're going home!"

Luca said, "Your right about that I'm going home... with my real family and back with my husband!"

Luca jumped into the ocean and revealed himself to be a sea monster which shocked his parents.

Daniela said, "My baby!"

Lorenzo said, "Luca please reconsider!"

Luca just left them and went back to the island as Daniela broke into tears and Lorenzo had so much guilt.

Luca swam back to the island hoping they'll be alright.
