Y/N(Reader) And Fandoms Oneshots

A new bond|Kirby

Y/N is actually going to be one of king Dedede's monsters in this one.
This was something a friend of mine suggested but they don't have wattpad so I sadly cannot give them credit.

Y/N POV:

I was one of King Dedede's greatest monsters so far. At least,that's what he said when I first awakened. He said I had to destroy an entity called "Kirby". Apparently it's a small pink ball with tiny legs and arms,barely smaller than me. What harm could such a creature even do that the king wants it gone?

I wasn't very good at speaking so I guess I was made purely to fight. My weapons were a sword and a bow with a bag of arrows strapped onto my back. I'm guessing this form will provide me with the stealth I need. However,my armour may be too heavy to walk with properly. There was no hope in trying to resist the king's wish though as I have been created with a fear of him.

I had just exited the castle as my mission had begun. I had orders to follow and no one could stand in my way. Even in the village no one seemed to really care. Just some of the kids looking at me walking by with curiosity. Was this "Kirby" thing even in the village? I was told it lived outside the village but often hung out in the village with these children....

This was all so odd. Especially with the fact the village people probably knew of my origin. Why would they choose to ignore a being sent out by the king himself? I was able to fight with both the sword and a bow. I could cause chaos if I wanted-

"Poyo!"

Behind me stood this Kirby creature all of a sudden and it seemed to... Greet me? Why would it be so nice if the king wanted it gone forever?

I wasn't sure what to do quite yet so I stepped back a bit to see if it would attack. But it just... Stared...

It's vocabulary seemed to consist of nonsense. Should I attack it?

And so I did.

With the swing of my blade,the creature was lucky to have been taken by two kids. They ran off but I heard them for a while longer before I knew i lost them. This was the time i set down my heavy armour. As much as i wanted protection in battle,I was too slow to properly attack or run after my target. It felt good to finally let the sun touch my bare skin,if one could even call it that. It was warm and I could also breath much easier. But this meant I had to make sure my arrows wouldn't fall while I ran after them. A small inconvenience compared to the lost defense and improved agility.

I sped across the fields outside the village in my search for the target until I found its home. It seemed rather cozy but I wouldn't let that fool me. I needed to look around for any clues that could help me find this creature.

At least until I looked at the tree...

There they were,sitting on the branches as if they knew my armour made me too heavy to climb. However,I was able to now so I took my chance to quietly approach them and leaped at them as I got up behind them. I had only tackled the Kirby out onto the ground to make it all quick. I was beginning to feel sympathy for this strange being.

So I hesitated...

But before I could do anything,it had somehow swallowed my sword without a problem. It gave the creature new abilities. This must be why the king wanted it gone!

It was a surprise to say the least so I slipped up and realized I had lost all my arrows. I was suddenly without any defense at all. I suppose this was the end.

But lucky for me,the tiny creature didn't harm me. It simply gave me back the sword and smiled... Neither me or the kids seemed to believe it.

Before long,this tiny creature just hugged me and... I'm not sure what came over me... I couldn't attack it for some reason. I was feeling a sort of warmth inside of me and I just hugged it back. I just dropped my sword and went soft.

This creature wasn't dangerous at all. In fact,it was quite comforting...

Perhaps I could stay just a little longer...

Okay,I'm actually kinda proud of this. I couldn't believe I could remember the story after so long. I still remember watching it on my Nintendo 3DS(or DS? I'm not sure anymore) all the time when I was still in elementary. It was practically the biggest joy little me could have.
