Major Lennox helped discharge me and escorted me out of my room and into the huge medical bay. Both of us took it easy, Lennox staying right beside me to prevent any accident that could disturb or misplace my ribs and arm in their casts.
We walked into the main area and it was crazy busy as everyone in there worked diligently, just like at the base. I only smiled widely towards Uncle Ratchet along the way, as I spotted him being busy and helping attend to wounded Autobots and humans alike. My cousins, Skids and Mudflap, were there and they seemed a little banged up, but I was glad they were alive.

"Hey, Little K's awake, ya'll!" They both said loudly and waved at me. I giggled and waved back with my free hand.

Sideswipe zoomed around the area, surprisingly, not a scratch on him, "Kia!" He shouted excitedly and did circles around me this time. "Hey!" I greeted him back and gave him a huge smile and he quickly zoomed off again. A little blue toy car did the same as it zipped pass me, racing Sideswipe around the open hangar. I was kind of glad to see that Wheels was ok, too. As tiny as he is, he made it through of all this war and hell. Just like me. I guess we had that much in common and I'm honored that he chose the right side.
Maybe we'll get along just fine.
Later, the Arcee triplets, unfortunately as far as I could see, were also in the same shape as my cousins. The one worst in damages, who was shot before me earlier, was being mended on currently by Ratchet. All three of them looked up at the twins's and Sideswipe's commotions and they waved to me once they took notice.
All of their behavior caused Ratchet to look up from his work and notice me, also. My uncle only nodded silently in return as he went back to working. His face was set in serious concentration, but I knew he was excited and relieved to see me, and that he needed to focus. I just know we'll have plenty of time to chat later, just like we always had before. I was just relieved my family survived.
We had continued to walk through the hangar inside from what I could tell was a military carrier ship. Major had then told me we were traveling overseas to get everyone back home at once, but I was getting used to a new surrounding other than the base or the desert. I had to figure quickly that I would be traveling a lot more soon, seeing new sights and places, and I needed to adjust to that new step in life. My eyes had wandered to the other humans all still busy working on the various airplanes, carrying parts and tools, and most of the others were talking amongst themselves.

I then spotted Uncle Ironhide and he was having a conversation with Bumblebee against a nearby wall. I smiled at the two old friends reconnecting with each other. As I was about to continue walking by, Ironhide called out to me, "Kia!"
I faced him as he and Bee both carefully jogged up to us, minding the other humans, and stopped right in front of Lennox and I.
"How ya' feeling, squirt?" Ironhide chuckled as he crouched to my level. "What, did you think I would let my niece slip past me without noticing?"
"Haha. Maybe. But, yes, I feel fine. A little sore, but nothing I can't handle." I giggled, my tender ribs vibrated along with my laugh, but I ignored the slight aching pressure.
"Guess I'll have to work on my stealth game again once I'm better, huh? What say you Uncle, a little one-on-one?" I smirked as I teased, "Decepticons think that I may not have a match on them, but I'll prove that you can join them in on that opinion, as well."
"Hah hah! That's my girl." Ironhide chuckled back and smiled. "Challenge accepted."
"That'll take some time, you two. Seeing that Kia has to heal up first." Major chuckled at us both. I rolled my eyes in amusement at Lennox, who shook his head in light amusement, and I glanced back at my family.
"Oh, Kia, before you go, I have this for ya'." Ironhide then pulls out IronLuck from one of his weapon compartments and handed it back to me. "I've noticed you activated the gun mode on it. I'm proud of you. I always knew you were ready and I've made some upgrades to make it fully accessible to you."
"Thank you, Ironhide." I said as I received it and set it within my sling. "I'll be honest, I may have used it outside of my jurisdiction and for a bit of...extreme and nefarious purposes. I'm not proud of myself for that. But, I'll make sure to take care of it and use it properly this time, as I'm intended to."
Uncle Ironhide nods at me, "I know you'll do the right thing."
"I love you, kiddo."
I smile brightly, "I love you, too, Uncle. Send my regards to the others for me?"
Ironhide gave me a thumbs up and faces to Bee, gives him a brief hand to the shoulder, "Thanks for taking care of her, old friend." With that he walks away back to the rest of the hangar.
