"Okay, finished." Ranboo said, taping off the end of the elastic compression wrap, giving a final pat to Tubbo's back as he tossed a white button up shirt into his lap.
"You sure nothings sticking out?" Tubbo asked, throwing on the button up and rushing towards the front door.
Ranboo hummed, "yup, you look very... human."
He watched in silence as Tubbo threw on his best shoes. Ranboo's feet shuffled back and forth on the wooden floor. "Are you sure it doesn't hurt?" Ranboo finally asked, his tail swishing anxiously behind him, "having them bound down like that?"
Tubbo stood and faced Ranboo, a gentle smile on his face. He wasn't about to tell him the truth, that having his wings bound like this was tortuous. Not being able to fly at a moment's notice was terrifying. "I feel fine, it'll probably feel awkward for a little bit, but I'll get used to it."
Ranboo's eyes flickered between Tubbo's, trying to catch if the shorter was lying, if he really was in pain. If he noticed, he didn't say anything, instead pulling Tubbo into a tight hug. "Be careful okay?"
"I will." Tubbo whispered, then took a couple steps back towards the door, "I'll see you after the interview!"
"Good luck!" Ranboo said, waving lightly, "you'll do great!"
"Thank you!" Tubbo shouted over his shoulder, shutting the door behind him.

"Hi, my name is Tubbo Beloved, I'm here for an interview this morning at 9?"
Sitting behind the lobby desk was a kind looking woman, her face lighting up as Tubbo spoke to her. Her hair was a pretty dark brown, super curly and long, dropping to about her mid waist. Her right arm was covered in twisting vines and roses, and she seemed oddly familiar.
She checked something on her computer, smiling as she mumbled his name under her breath, "ah yes, here you are!" She handed him a temporary ID tag, laminated and colored yellow, "head on over to the elevator and make your way to floor 37, that's where they'll be doing interviews today."
Tubbo nodded, giving the lady a nervous smile, "thank you very much."
"Good luck, you'll do great!"
Tubbo genuinely smiled at that, before making his way towards the elevator and slipping inside along with about five other people.
People that looked like they belonged, like they were supposed to work here.
He swallowed the lump that was forming in his throat, pressing himself closer into the wall of the elevator.
The elevator practically launched upwards, no one flinching aside from Tubbo, who's hands started to shake at how fast they were ascending. He had ascended faster than this, of course, but that was when he had full control of his speed, height, and lift. Now, he was trapped in a tiny fucking box with other people, with no control of the speed or if the whole thing came crashing down, what could he even do?
Tubbo blinked, once, twice, finding that suddenly, he was standing in the middle of an empty hallway. He must've blanked out and followed the crowd, but where exactly was he? This didn't seem like the place for interviews, the hallway empty, almost silent, no nervous pent up energy being wasted as people waited to be called upon.
He turned around, hoping to see the elevator doors behind him, but there were none. How the hell did he wander so far?
"Oh, hello there!" A voice suddenly spoke.
Tubbo whirled around, his heart damn near pounding out of his chest. Behind him stood a very familiar figure, being one of the top heroes, Tubbo recognized him immediately.
