May I correct something, Miko (in this universe) when Makoto died she made Miko as a gift of departure, she made her natural ability of shifting into her human form earlier.

When a Kitsune has to be at least a century old. When, my mistake Miko was not 19 she was actually 45 because I came to think about all the Shrine work and training she did with Kitsune Siaguu.

Narrator:

It was a peaceful morning, the finches in sakura trees all tweeted their morning cries. The sunlight's glory full gaze bled through the shoji sliders that lead to a quiet docile zen garden. That was nestled in between the walls of the medical hospital of the weak, sick, and the injured are made to stay, in their specific wards according to their conditions.

The sand zen garden was accompanied by a pool of water dotted with lily pads and their white buds still waiting to burst into life at spring. The sliver toned pebbles lay still beneath the surface of the cyan pool, motionless and stale as ever. There were Koi fish, all manner of coloured variations gathered in a shoel at one end of the pool of water, as it was the early autumn.

The sakura tree placed there near the few rocks and the kaitomoshi. It was a still and tranquil setting. The small blossoms that fell would edge themselves at the small pool, as the wind blew then the small ripples of the water would endure until their untimely end.
