On a November day after their next date before heading home for the night, Inuri gave Isaac an invitation to the field trip her school is going on. She finally told him about the mean stuff they've been saying about him and decided to prove them wrong. Isaac insisted he's fine and he's used to the awful treatment, but Inuri shook her head. He is going with her to America on that field trip. Isaac then chuckled and gave in. He accepted the invitation and get ready. Inuri smiled and told him the details of when the field trip starts and what time to get on a train to America. It was on December 3rd. She'll even wait for him at his house and then they can go together; which Isaac agreed on.
December 3rd already came, and Isaac was in what was once his parents' room now turned to his own room packing up for the field trip when he heard a crash coming from the attic. He packed up the last of his clothes, guitar and red rock string and closed his suitcase before leaving his room. He decided to look out the window first and saw a figure running towards the house still in her clown outfit holding a suitcase as she ran. It was Inuri. She's apparently ready to go.
When Inuri approached the house, she saw Isaac staring out the window. He gave Inuri a thumbs up and gestured for her to wait at the porch; which she did. Isaac sighed in relief and continued on towards the attic. Upon arrival, he looked around and noticed everything is still intact, but not the shelf holding up forgotten knick-knacks from his childhood.
Isaac groaned and annoyance and decided to quickly clean up the trinkets that broke in the crash. He didn't pay attention to anything else out of the ordinary; like his window being opened by someone.
Thinking it was Inuri breaking the rules, Isaac yelled out; "Inuri, I told you to wait outside! Get out of the house quickly!"
"What?" he heard a shout from below.
Isaac rushed towards the open window and saw Inuri looking up. "What rule did I break?" Inuri yelled back. "I've been outside the whole time waiting for you. Is everything okay up there?"
Isaac stood back in confusion. He looked around the room he was in and saw no one there. This was weird. If Inuri is still outside, then who is in the house?
"Uhh, yeah. I'm alright. I'm coming out now." he shouted at Inuri nervously. He closed the window and went to open the door to go back downstairs, grab his suitcase, and meet Inuri. However, the door wouldn't budge. Isaac tried and tried at pulling the knob, but the door seemed to be stuck.
Just then he heard the most horrible raspy voice call out from behind him; the tall figure looming over him.
"I'm NoT InUri IsSsaAac..."
A cold jolt ran down Isaac's spine and the hairs on the back of his neck stood straight up as he slowly turned around. Standing right behind him close enough to touch is the nightmarish Laughing Jack.
"How nice it is to finally see my friends again after such a long absence." Jack said; smiling with his sharp teeth gleaming. "My my have you changed? Did you miss me Isaac?"
Isaac stood paralyzed with fear. "You!" he pointed at the monochrome clownman. "B-But I thought you weren't real...IMAGINARY?! Did Inuri send you here?"
Jack replied with a long horrifying cackle. "Oh, let me establish a few things here kiddo." he said. "Uri didn't send me. I came at my own accord. I watched, waited, and I finally reached my moment. Don't worry though, I'll meet my second best friend for life and daughter...after I play with my first best friend for life...ONE...LAST...TIME!"
Before Isaac could reply, Jack's long arms stretched across the room and wrapped around Isaac's legs. The twisted clownman began pulling him closer, dragging him onto the wooden bed as Isaac let out a scream while his fingernails scraped along the floor.
