Toothless hangs from a tree with his tail, his wings wrapped around him.

"Do dragons sleep like that?" hiccup asked his older self. The other people from the past had also wondered this but didn't want to speak with F!hiccup. "Not usually no." F!hiccup said with a smile.

Toothless opens his eyes and sees Hiccup sitting on a rock. Hiccup is drawing in the dirt/sand with a stick. The night fury walks up behind him and hiccup tenses but continues drawing. Toothless follows the stick with his eyes then walks off. Hiccup looks at him as you can hear a tree branch snap. The dragon has a branch in his mouth and the end piece is on the floor as he walks around, creating his own drawing. Toothless spins around and continues drawing. He looks at hiccup then back at his drawing; he continues accidently hitting hiccup in the head with the branch. Hiccup smiles looking around.

The berkians of the past were shocked to say the least. They had all thought of dragons as mindless, killing machines, and yet here one was not killing a human but instead drawing.

Toothless let's out a low growl to say that he was done. Lines scattered the floor, surrounding Hiccup. As Hiccup walks his foot lands on top and earns a snarl from Toothless. Hiccup takes his foot off the line and Toothless purrs instead. Hiccup puts his foot back on the line and Toothless snarls. This happens again, before Hiccup places his foot between the lines.

the snotlouts shake their heads at his stupidity; catching on to the fact Toothless didn't want his drawing to be stepped on.

Hiccup smiles at toothless and works his way around all the lines. He lands with his back facing toothless. Toothless exhales and hiccup steps away so hes facing the dragon. Hiccup tries to place his hand on Toothless, but he moves his head and snarls. Hiccup lowers his hand and Toothless stops. Hiccup closes his eyes looking away and puts his hand out again, showing Toothless had the control of how this will go. Toothless looks at his hand before leaning closer so they're touching.

The room occupant's gasp. One of the deadliest creatures had put his trust in the weakest boy that was in berk.

Hiccup looks at toothless in shock as he opens his eyes. Toothless then runs off as hiccup watched him.

"And with one twist, he took my hand and swallowed it hole! I saw the look on his face... I was delicious." Gobber says to the kids surrounding the fire. "He must have passed the word, because it wasn't a month before another one of them took my leg." he continued. "wow" fishlegs said "Isn't it weird to think your hand was inside a dragon? Like if your mind was still in control of it, you could have killed the dragon from the inside by crushing his heart or something." fishlegs continued getting stares from the other kids. "I swear, I'm so angry. I'' avenge your beautiful hand and your beautiful foot." snotlout says holding up his chicken on a stick. "I'll chop of the legs of every dragon I fight, with my face." he says.

"Look how that turned out" F!ruffnut laughs, F!tuffnut says following after. F!snotlout heard them and rolled his eyes.

"It's the wings and tail you really want. If it can't fly, it can't get away. a downed dragon is a dead dragon." Gobber says taking off the leg from his meal. "All right, I'm off to bed. You should be, too." Gobber yawns. "Tomorrow, we get to the big boys, slowly but surely making our way up to the monstrous nightmare." this makes the kids sit up and smile. "But who'll win the honor of killing it?" the camera pans showing hiccup not in his seat.

 "It's gonna be me. It's my destiny, see?" Tuffnut says. Fishlegs gasps "Your mom let you get a tattoo?". Astrid notices hiccup running off as Tuffnut continues "It's not a tattoo, it's a birthmark." "Okay, I've been stuck with you since birth, and that was never there before." "Yes, it was. you've just never seen me from the left side until now." Astrid goes back up to the group.

'What is he planning...' Astrid thinks spinning her axe in her hand.

Hiccup opens his book to the page he had sketched Toothless on. He took his pencil and drew his second tailfin again. Hiccup works in the blacksmiths stall. He made a rod, took out the nails in a shield, and used these to make a tailfin.

"You're going to help it?! You can change your future just kill it!" Stoick yells at his s- at hiccup.
