"Hey Night! Come and check this out!" He calls.

Night pads over to a large, arched den covered in leaves and well protected. "Hey Blaze.. You hear that?" Meows Night. "I think it's the sound of kits!"

"Perfect.. Where they're kits, there is a mother. Where there is a mother, she must have food. Then thats where we come in." Blaze, my brother, meows furiously.

Ever since our mother got really sick, and mysteriously disappeared, me and Blaze were determined to find her at get her back... At all costs.

Even threatening the lives of kits.

"Why don't we actually hunt for our food?" Night meows. "It's more fun and less dangerous."

"You know why we have to do this. For mom. Now get your tail over here and-"

"Shh!" I scent another cat.."I whisper, sniffing the air.

All of a sudden two cats pin us from behind and knock us over.

"Who are you!" A golden brown tom hisses through the night.

"My name is Night and this is my older brother Blaze." I hiss.

"Once I'm off of you I swear I'm going to kill you!" Hisses Blaze to a gray and white she cat.

"Don't you dare lay a claw on her!" Hisses the tom.

"Let us go." I meow.

"Not until you tell me what you were doing behind the nursery." The tom growls.

"Nothing!" I meow.

"Tell me or I'll-"

"Goldheart, how about we just take them to Sunstar?" The she cat meows.

"But- oh fine. Come on you two." The tom, apparently now Goldheart, meows.

They both lead us to a dark den. But before I could step inside, a wave of darkness spreads over me and my vision goes black.

I wake up in a strange, mysterious place, filled with luscious green trees and all the prey you can eat.

Where am I..?

"Hello, Night" meows a cat.

I whip my head around.

"Who are you? And how do you know my name?" I say towards the flame colored she cat with sparking blue eyes.

" Approach the silver circle, that brightens up the darkness, and you will find what you've been seeking. It resides where light is hidden beneath the darkness that spreads beyond where no cat has gone before."

"What are you taking about?" I say, confused.

"Listen to the prophecy, Night. Because just when you thought it was safe, it really wasn't."

A wave of pain fills my body and I wake up to where I was originally.

"Night? Are you okay?" Meows Blaze.

"I-"

"Sunstar! Help!" meows Goldheart. "Silverstone is missing!"
