I walk over standing infront of her blocking her from everyone else's view " come on harper" she blinks and she looks up at me " come on" I usher her out the room to my office " I don't want t-to g-g" I see her tears fall as she sits on the couch I crouch infront of her.

I eat my salad and when I thought things couldn't get any worse they do " harper how old are you now" my mother amara asks I put my fork down " 17" i says she looks shocked as I look at her 50 questions go through my mind at once
" why did You leave me" I ask and she looks at me annoyed " what did you just say" I take a deep breathe side eyeing my brothers " why did you leave me there" she scoffs " we aren't doing this here" she says in a angry voice I take a deep breathe standing up
" we can do this here or we - no we are doing it now why the fuck did you leave me there" I shout and she looks taken back the whole room goes silent " because I didn't know how to" she says " bullshit you have how many other kids" I nod to her sons
" harper come on listen to me I didn't know how to look after you. You wasn't Henry's kid" I scoff " is that really your excuse right now. I came here and Eliza and the boys took me like I was there own fair enough I was a fucking hand full but after the arguments and the breakdowns as well as all of the hospital visits they never gave up god knows how they haven't and that's your fucking excuse"
