Did Heather really just ask me out... I knew I was still in love with her but I also had a boyfriend now. 

Heather didn't mention it again to me for a few days.

"Hey Meg, our parents are out this Friday night and the younger kids are being watched so if you want to do something that night we can, I mean I don't know really how to ask you on a date?" 

"Hev, as much as I want to say yes or have some idea of what we can do I want to make sure you actually want this, I don't want to be someone you regret because it would ruin our friendship!" I said 

She looked at me came closer and to my surprise she kissed me, I was really taken aback by that.

"Does that answer you?" She asked

"Erm...I guess so. Ok Hev, we can go for a meal or something, I don't know how different this will be than how we usually do?" I replied. 

Over the next few days things were mad, my Mum got offered a house for us, it was only a two bed so me and Faye would be sharing but it was better than being in Heathers house as there was eight kids between five and 17, three adults and two dogs, it was very crowded. My Mum did say that if I wanted Heather to sleep over we could use the dining room as a bedroom or maybe get a summer house, we had some money left by my Dad but housing was quite limited where we were.

Friday came and we went to school that day Izzy came over to us and said "I guess I was right, you two really are a couple!" 

"Not that its any of your business who I go out with but why would anyone care if me and Heather were together or just friends, it has absolutely fuck all to do with you?" I was mad that this girl felt that she knew everything.

"Well, it was Heathers ex boyfriend who told me, so if you want anyone to blame, it's him!" Izzy laughed and walked off. 

"Did you say anything to him?" I asked Heather already knowing she wouldn't have.

"No, I never even told him about you telling me you loved me, I have no idea where he would have got it from. I know you don't feel comfortable coming out just yet as we both have no idea what we are..." Heather started then she spotted her ex she ran over to him and I just stood there...
