Who Knew He Could Be So Caring Sequel (Envy x Reader)

Chapt 3: I'll Protect You!

You froze when Dante began to walk up to you. She smirked at your surprised face.

"Well, it seems to be Envy's little girlfriend" she said in a cocky voice, "so, exactly how long have you been together?"

At this point, Dante was really close to you and seemed to be playing with your hair. You didn't want to tell her, but it seemed safest to answer so you did.

"Um...we've been together for a few weeks" you answered trying to sound confident, but Dante seemed to have this way with people that made all their confidence wash away.

"Only a few weeks!" She said sounding shocked, "Oh I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Envy can't truly love you."

"What?" You asked raising an eyebrow,  this lady was going to end up making you mad.

"Well, he's a homunculus" she answered sympathetically , "he has no heart, he can never learn to love."

That struck a nerve.

"YOUR WRONG!" You yelled pushing her away, "ENVY LOVES ME AND I KNOW IT!"

Dante looked extremely mad, not only did you yell at her, but you pushed her as well!

"You'll pay dearly for that!" She yelled.

Suddenly, spikes grew from the floor out from under you, she was using alchemy! You fell to floor and Dante began to walk towards you. You jumped to your feet and fled.

You ran and ran, until you found yourself in main entrance of the mansion.  You were about to run up the stairs to Envy's room, but the floor went up and you tripped and fell. You yelled out in pain, you twisted your ankle and Dante was getting closer and closer to you!

(Wrath's POV)
I heard someone scream so I came out of my hiding place to see who it was, it was (y/n)!" I used my powers to jump up to the second floor so no one would notice me and ran to Envy's room.

I ran up to the door and flung it open. I found Envy in bed taking a nap. I jumped on top of him and started shaking him furiously. He soon woke up.

"WRATH WHAT ARE YOU..."

"(Y/N), IT'S (Y/N)!" I yelled with tears in my eyes, "DANTE ATTACHED HER SHE NEEDS HELP!"

Envy pushed me off him and ran out the door. I followed him.

(Normal POV)
There were cuts all over your body and you were bleeding a little bit. Dante seemed to be trying not to hurt you that much.

"You know, you have such a pretty face" she said nicely, "I might just use you as my new body."

"What the heck do you mean by that?!" You yelled out.

"You'll soon see" she said.

Dante brought her hand up, about to use alchemy on you. You glued your eyes shut, bracing yourself. You heard the explosion,  but you felt no pain. What you did feel was yourself move.You slowly opened your eyes to find yourself in the arms of a very angry Envy.

"Dante...I don't know what the hell you are doing, but you're going to pay for it!" Envy yelled but then whispered in your ear, "I'll protect you."

Envy lunged at Dante, but she managed to dodge all of Envy's attacks using her alchemy.  The fight went on for a really long time, and neither Envy or Dante had layed a finger on each other. It went on for so long you weren't really that worried about Envy any more.

Suddenly the main doors opened. You jerked your body around and Envy and Dante stopped fighting. Standing in the doorway was a man with long golden hair and golden eyes.

Envy looked as if he was about to murder someone, while Dante just smirked.

"It's been a long time" she said, "Hohenheim of Light. "
