Taka complained about riding at the back of Mirei's back on the way here, even if he got off minutes ago. "Because it's my bike! MY bike!" Mirei mocked him.
Mirai, Kei, Satsuki and Taishi were all sat on the dining room, eating breakfast that moment and when they heard them, they poked their heads outside. "Ta-- TAKA?!" Mirai's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "Ohayou! (Good Morning!)" he greeted with a smile. "Tadaima to ohayou! (I'm home and good morning!)" Mirei greeted too. "That's Taka? But-- eh?" Satsuki too, was confused. "He was playing at the café last night and I was there too so we hung out. What's for breakfast, I'm hungry." Mirei walked into the dining room, her arms behind her neck.
The 4 of them were still looking at Taka, puzzled and also surprised. He looked back at them with a nervous smile. "What're you standing there for?" Mirei sat on the chair and called to them.
It seems that Kei already apologized to Taishi. For some reason, they got along with clothes and cooking. Mirai and Satsuki talked to Taka and Mirei. Since it wasn't really Taka's fault for breaking up with her, according to Mirei, she had no reason to act frustrated or tell him the sadness she's been through. But of course Taka still forced her to say how it went for her the past years they were together. He also shared what he's been through.
"Nee minna, (Hey everyone,) since we're all here, let's go out today! Before Kei and Satsuki go today!" Mirai excitedly said. "What... are we sending them to a battle or something." Mirei smirked. "Well, that's not just why! Mom and dad said, we should go to any place that inspires you so we'll get ideas to plan for your birthday party." Mirai explained. "Ah, that's a great idea!" Satsuki started to anticipate. "Look, you two should be sisters. Mirai, I don't want their birthday party. I'm sure that's just crap to impress some gold-mole client." Mirei snapped. "Well if it's really like that, wouldn't it at least be more bearable if we plan the theme? In that way, you'll somehow still feel that it's your birthday." Mirai still persuaded her sister. "That's right, Mirei. If... if you really don't want to do that, at least do it for us?"
Mirei looked at Satsuki, her eyebrows meeting. Ah. Satsuki knew how to hit her.
"So, where do we go first?" Mirai asked as they got in the car. "Wht if we eat first?" Mirei wondered. "But Mirei, we ate just about 40mins. Ago." Mirai twitched. "That's Mirei for you." Taka said. After a little bit, Mirei's head slowly plopped on Taka's shoulder. "Oh that's right, she hasn't slept last night... listen, we'll split into pairs to buy Mirei her gifts. Remember, it's the thought that counts... the financial needs are all on my parents" Mirai's tone turned evil. "That's Mirai for you." Kei said and they laughed.
After eating...
"We're gonna split into pairs? Why is that?" Mirei puffed. "Actually, Kei and Taishi wanyed to go buy clothes for your birthday so they're going together. I'm going with Satsuki for the same reason. You'll go with Taka because... well, it's both the logical and rightful choice. Jya ne!" Mirai said and pulled Satsuki off. Kei and Taishi left too.
"Ugh. It's obviously a lie. Saa, where are we going?" Mirei turned to Taka. "Hm... why don't we eat some more?" Taka suggested. "Yappari tensai da na~ (You're a genius after all~) Let's go!" Mirai and Taka set off.
"Well, Mirei isn't girly so we avoid girly shops" said Kei. "She wears black and white most of the time." Taishi added. "She has a cool atmosphere so..."
"Leather jacket!" they chorused and looked for a shop that has those.
"Ah, kawaii~! (Cute~!)"
"Deshou~? (Right?)" Mirai said as the oogled things in an accessory shop. "There are a lot of cute things here but, we're buying a present for Mirei so this isn't gonna work." Satsuki sighed. "Sou desu ne. (That's right.) Let's check at other shops."
