Mirai broke into cold sweat. Her eyes got cloudy with tears as she frowned at the ring. The crowd is waiting for her answer.

Kei took his apron off and got out of the kitchen but Mirei got to Mirai first. Mirei pushed the box off the guy's hand and she pulled her sister away. Everyone gasped. Kei ran towards the sisters' direction.

Mirei felt her blood boiling through her veins. Her heart was pounding in fury and her eyes were getting darker and darker by the minute. The moment they got to the garden, she let go of Mirai and she kicked the potted plants around, breaking them into pieces. She turned the bench over, she started to scream out loud. Mirai fell weak on her knees and she started to cry. Kei saw her and he immediately ran to her and he embraced her tight.

Mirei stared at them and requested, "Kei, please take her away from here."

Kei nodded and he took her by the hand somewhere.

Mirei stormed back in the mansion and she darted upstairs and walked straight in Mirai's room. Taka and Satsuki went after her.

"Mirei, what're you doing?" Satsuki asked watching her put her sister's things in a luggage. "I'm packing up. We're going. Somewhere those two won't ever find us." Mirai frustratingly answered. "I'll go get your things." Taka said and walked out of Mirai's room. "Mirei... are you sure about this?" Satsuki asked worriedly. "Yes. I am."

Satsuki also got out Mirai's room to check on Taka. He kicked his way in and he's gathering her things up too. Satsuki started to do the same and she stuffed her things in Mirei's luggage. She's worried about what's gonna happen to Mirai and Mirei when they leave but looking at how things are right now, staying is not a very good idea.

Mirei, Satsuki and Taka were carrying luggages and bags as they went downstairs and walked swiftly towards their table. People turned their heads to their direction and they started whispering. Soon, Taishi, Taka's band and the café manager stood up. Makoto called Mirei but she didn't even bother to glance at him and walked straight ahead, banging the door behind them as they walked out of the mansion.

"You know, I used to always repaint the walls of my room. I also buy new furnitures everytime. People say it's how I am. I like changing myself and the things around me a lot. But to be honest, the reason I have had a lot of boyfriends, the reason I redesign my room a lot, the reason I followed my parents' choices for me is because I don't know what I really want for myself. The things I decide on are always temporary. And now that I'm happy with a decision I made myself, now that I found something that I want to last long with me... it's being taken away from me. I don't understand. How awful." Mirai cried. Kei held her tight against him. She was hurting, but he was too. He wants to say how mad and how disappointed and sad he is just as she is but he needs to be strong for her right now. To hold her and wipe her tears away is what he should do right now.

Mirai's mobile phone rang in her pocket. She took it and answered it. "Hello?"

"Where are you?" It was Mirei in the other line. "We're.. we're at the park right now." Mirai sniffed. "Okay. We're on our way there." Mirei said and hung up. "Mirei said she's coming here." Mirai sobbed to Kei. "Mirai... I'm putting you through all this trouble because of our relationship. I'm sorry that all I could do is to comfort you." Kei apologized. Mirai smiled. "Hey, you lent me your handkerchief. You let me cry to you. This relationship may be the reason I'm crying but, this relationship is also the reason I'm smiling." she said and Kei hugged her. "I'll get you through this, I promise."

"I trust you." Mirai hugged him back.

Mirei, Taka, Satsuki and Taishi came to the park and then all 6 of them went straight to Kei and Satsuki's house. Kei accepted Mirei's suggestion that she and her sister will stay there and the other two guys went back home.

It's been 6 days after the party incident.

Mirai finished up Kei's tie. "We'll be going." He said. Satsuki and Mirei waved them goodbye and they left.

Kei applied at the old company he used to work for. His boss couldn't give him his old position back because it's currently occupied so he was accepted within the bussiness team he used to lead.

Mirai is currently in the same company but in a different section. That's why she comes with Kei everytime he goes to work. She couldn't go back to the sweets shop because surely, her parents will either be there or someone will contact them if ever she comes.

Satsuki kept going to school like before. Taishi will take her there, Taishi will bring her home.

Mirei applied for a job at the café. She was accepted as a waitress at mornings from Mondays to Saturdays and a regular performer every night. She didn't bother going to school. Like there's something that'll benefit her there. Also, she got back together with Taka. They were spend most of their time together.

Makoto and Giselle kept contacting both Mirai and Mirei in their phones but after Mirei told them off, they stopped and never contacted them again.

All of them thought, though they didn't speak it out, things were better this way. Kei and Mirai are together, Mirei enjoyed her work. It wasn't at all hard or wrong. To them, it seems like they could continue on with this everyday.

Kei and Mirai were on their way home in a taxi while chatting.

"You're really too lucky. To be accepted the first time you go job hunting. I actually envy you!" Kei smirked. "I wish the job hunting could've lsted longer though. It would've been more fun!" said Mirai. "Maybe huh. Then get yourself fired and go job hunting again!" Kei stupidly suggested. "Hey aren't you just--"

The taxi suddenly halted and they were thrown forwards. "I'm sorry! I think I bumped into something, I'll go take a look if you don't mind?" The driver politely asked. Kei and Mirei nodded and the driver got down the taxi. "Should we go check too?" asked Mirai and they did.

"K-- Kei, that guy, he's the one that proposed to me the other night." Mirai whispered, pointing at the man crouched in front of the taxi. He was holding an unconcious man's hands behind his back and he stood him up. Then another man that looks like he's in his 50's cme jogging towards the driver. Kei recognized tha man's face. "Thank you!" He shook the driver's hand. That voice...

The tall man looked at Kei's direction and their eyes met. They both looked dumbfounded...

"Kei..." the man slowly stepped towards them. "Eh, do you know each other?" Mirai asked. Kei couldn't speak or move.

It's been years but how could he forget... his father's face and voice.
