"We're having a party." Tony said.
"Another one?" You asked "We just had one like two days ago."
"And?" Tony said. "This one's a business party!"
"A business party?!" You said.
"Yeah!" Tony said exasperatedly. "A business party!"
"Hey, Tony!" Clint walked over. "Can we talk about the business party?"
"Sure!" Tony turned his full attention to Clint and forgot about you. You sighed and threw your arms out and walked away. You found Bucky alone reading a book.
"Hey Buck, whatcha readin?" You asked. Bucky looked up, saw you, and smiled.
"The hobbit." Bucky said. "Well, I actually am re-reading it." You smiled and sat down next to him.
"Have you seen the movies?"
"Movies?"
"Yeah, they made three movies for the hobbit and three movies for the lord of the rings." You said.
"Huh." Bucky said.
"Wanna binge them when Tony has the business party?" You asked. Bucky's face lights up.
"Yes!" Bucky almost yelled.
"Okay, chill!" You laughed. Bucky's smile widened. "Hey, aren't you tired of just listening to 9000's music? I mean, I have nothing against Led Zeppelin, Queen, and The Police but you do need to listen to some 2000's music."
"Okay...?" Bucky said nervously. "Should I be prepared?"
"Yes." You said. You grabbed your phone and headphones and accessed spotify. Bucky put on the head phones. You pressed play.
(You don't have to listen to this if you don't want to)
After the song ended Bucky took the headphones.
"Wow." He said.
"How did you like it?" You asked.
"It was good." Bucky said. "Who wrote it?"
"Imagine dragons." You replied.
"They're good." Bucky said. You nodded.
"They are."
"Mr. Stark. The guests for your business party are arriving." JARVIS said.
"Well, want to binge some movies?" You asked Bucky.
"Oh yeah!" Bucky grinned. You got up and pulled him into your shared room. You grabbed your computer and found 'The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey'. "Can we have some snacks?" Bucky asked.
"I'll go get some." You got up and Bucky paused the movie. "You don't have to pause it, I've already seen the movie." You told him.
"I want to see it with you." Bucky said firmly. You smiled and went to the mini fridge and grabbed two bags of (favorite chips). You poured them into a bowl and walked back to Bucky. He unpaused the movie and dug his hand into the chips. He grinned at you. "Thanks y/n. You've been really kind to me even though I killed your parents."
"You're a nice guy." You said. "And I was wrong. I thought you'd kill me, but now, I realize that you're the victim. And a villain is just a victim whose story hasn't been told." Bucky smiled and kissed your forehead. Your stomach filled with butterflies and your cheeks burned hot red. You smiled and turned back to the movie. Bucky put his arm around your shoulder and you leaned your head into his shoulder.
[[After binging all the hobbit and lord of the rings movies]]
You closed your computer and put it back in your room. Bucky put the bowl that you had used for the chips (it needed multiple refills) in the sink and cleaned it quickly.
"Thanks for watching the movies with me doll." Bucky said. "I really enjoyed it."
"I did too." You said. "We should do that more often."
"Yeah!" Bucky agreed. "Next time can we watch Star Wars? I love the three movies!"
"Three?" You said. "You know there's nine."
"Nine?!" Bucky said in disbelief.
"Yeah, they made the ones with young Anakin and Obi-wan and ones with old Luke." You told him.
"Okay, we have to watch those!" Bucky said.
"But in chronological order." You said.
"What's that?"
"4,5,6, 1,2,37,8, and 9." You said. He nodded.
"Okay." You checked the time.
"Oh god, it's almost midnight!" You said. "The business party ended hours ago!"
"It was worth it though." Bucky smirked.
"So worth it." You smirked back. He pulled you closer to you and pulled you around in a circle. "What are you doing?" You asked.
"It's time you learned how to dance doll." Bucky whispered and kissed your forehead. He moved your hands into the correct positions and wrapped his around your waist. Your heart exploded. You felt his breath on your forehead. He moved around in a circle and you followed him. Your e/c eyes meet his ice blue eyes and remembered the first time you had made eye contact. You didn't think you'd end up like this. Bucky pulled you closer into his chest and spun you around. Then he dipped you. He was a good dancer. You had taken dance lessons but had never learned this. You had learned hip-hop. You were pretty good. His lips met your cheek and butterflies multiplied in your stomach and your cheeks turned a crisp magenta.
"We should really get to bed." You breathed.
"Aw, come on doll," Bucky muttered. "Can't we dance a little longer?" Your emotions took control.
"Yes." Bucky smiled and dipped you again. He kissed your neck and pulled you up into a spin. You imagined yourself in a dress and Bucky in a suit. You were at a fancy party dancing. Bucky was twirling you and pulling you into his chest. He dipped you.
You woke up in Bucky's bed. You looked next to you and saw that he already got up. This was the first night since the party where you tried to lift Thor's hammer that you had had a decent sleep. You got up and walked out of the room. Bucky had made a pot of coffee and a mug of dark liquid was already steaming on the counter. You grabbed it and took a long drink.
"How did you sleep?"
"Good." You said. "How about you?"
"Better." Bucky smiled. "All thanks to you doll."
"Glad I could help." You smiled. Butterflies still remained from the previous night, and now they were replenishing. Bucky looked down at the counter and opened his mouth but didn't say anything.
"We should probably get out of this room." You said. "They might want to tell us about something important." Bucky nodded and followed you out. When Steve saw you he ran over to you.
"Mission. Now." He said, turning around.
"What's the mission?" You asked.
"That's classified."
