You finally said yes to Bruce and Tony for testing you and you're deeply regretting it. They've got you strapped to a table (Tony said if you try to break free) and they've been asking scientific questions that you don't really understand. Finally, after two days of being strapped to a table, Tony and Bruce finally let you go. You sat up and rubbed your wrists.
"Did it really have to go that long?" You asked.
"Sorry, we estimated that it would only last a day but, I guess we were wrong." Tony said. You got off the table and stretched.
"That was uncomfortable." You pointed out.
"We just got the results back." Bruce said, studying a computer.
"What is it?" You asked.
"The chemicals you used killed you." Bruce told you.
"Yeah, I know that." You said.
"But they also gave you powers." Bruce said. "Loki brought them to the surface when he revived you." Bruce turned back to the screen. "You've used telekinesis and fire. But you can control lightning, storms, plants, and earth."
"Like nature?" You said.
Bruce nodded, "Like nature."
"Dang." You said. "Cool." JARVIS' voice came over the speakers.
"New mission from the director of S.H.I.E.L.D."
"What is it JARVIS?" Tony asked.
"Hydra." JARVIS said. "They have taken over the triskelion."
"Thanks JARVIS." Tony said. "Tell the others to meet in the meeting room now. We need a plan."
Once everyone ran inside Tony started talking.
"Hydra has taken over the triskelion." Tony said. "We are all going in and taking back the triskelion."
"No inspirational pep talks, Tony?" Sam raised an eyebrow.
"That's not my thing!" Tony said. "It's Steve's!" Everyone looked at Steve.
"Let's just do this." Steve said. "This is Hydra. We need to be serious about this." Everyone nodded and got ready.
Bucky met you outside the compound as you waited for everyone to get ready.
"Are you ready for the mission?" Bucky asked.
"Yes." You said. "Are you?"
"Definitely." Bucky said. You grinned at each other for a moment. "If we don't get out of this doll..." Bucky finally said.
"Don't say that." You said. "We will."
"All I want to say is," Bucky paused and sighed. "I'm better at doing than saying." He kissed you. It took a moment for you to register what was going on before you kissed back. It seemed like an eternity before you broke apart. Butterflies were filling your chest and your cheeks were burning hot red. Bucky looked away, nervously.
"Bucky..." You said.
"I know it's stupid." Bucky said. "You probably won't like me back." He turned to walk away but you grabbed his wrist and kissed him. It was shorter than the first one.
"We will get out of this." You said firmly. "I know it." Bucky's smile lit up your world.
"Good." The Avengers walked past you and you followed them.
[[At the triskelion]]
"What's the plan?" You asked Tony.
"Get the triskelion back." Tony said camly. "Let's do this." He flew up into the triskelion, Wanda and Vision followed. You sighed.
"Here goes." You followed the Avengers into the triskelion. There were Hydra agents everywhere. They instantly pulled out guns and started shooting. You sent multiple rounds back at their users and used their bodys to block more bodys. You threw a body into a Hydra agent and sent a fireball at his head. You flipped an agent and slammed his head into the ground. Sam flew up to the upper levels to help Tony, Wanda, and Vision. Two Hydra agents fired at you and you incinerated the bullets in mid air. Big vines cracked through the floor and strangled two of the agents. The third one was electrocuted. Someone grabbed your shoulder and you flipped them. The Hydra agent landed in a pile of fire. You looked around to see that you were surrounded. Thousands of Hydra agents, who must have come from other levels, surrounded you. Wanda, Sam, Tony, and Vision were pushed through the crowd into the circle. Something was on Wanda that must be stopping her powers. They had everyone's weapons. Your eyes met Steve's and he nodded. His eyes said; use your powers, now. You smirked and nodded.
"Get ready." Steve told the other Avengers. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. The air crackled and you opened your eyes. They were smoking and sparking. Plants crawled out of the ground and engulfed multiple agents at the same time. Others were smothered in the ground, burned, or electrocuted. Wanda's restraints were broken by a bolt of lightning. She lifted into the air, red magic following around you. You saw blasts from the mind stone immersing itself into the crowd of agents. Vision must have joined the fight. You lifted into the air and the edges of your body glowed. Electricity bubbled up from the ground and the ground sent Hydra Agents flying into red magic and yellow blasts. The other Avengers grabbed their weapons and joined the fight. Your fists light on fire and you plunge into the ground, sending burning Hydra agents into they're fellow agents, burning them. Like a forest fire. An agent shot at you but missed. He was caught in a beam from Vision. You summoned a strong wind that blue the Hydra agents toward the Avengers. They took the agents down one by one as they sailed at them. Finally, the last Hydra agent fell. You, Vision, and Wanda lowered to the ground. Your eyes were still smoking. Bucky ran up and hugged you.
"You were amazing doll." He said.
"Thanks Buck." You smiled, hugging him back. After Bucky released you, you turned to Tony and Steve. "What now?" You asked.
"We head back to the compound." Steve said.
"Let's do it." Bucky said. You grinned and followed everyone out. Bucky stopped you. "Hey, doll... um... about earlier... um..." You kissed him.
"I still don't regret a thing." Bucky smiled and kissed you back. "Now let's get back to the compound."
[[the next day]]
You woke up and looked around. Bucky was lying next to you. You smiled when you remembered what happened the previous day. Bucky stirred and sat up. He grinned when he saw you.
"Hey doll." He muttered sleepy.
"Hey Buck. How'd you sleep?" You asked.
"Better with you." Bucky pulled you into a kiss. "Not a single nightmare."
"Same." You whispered.
"Why do you have nightmares?" Bucky asked.
"I started having them a couple days before Loki got in my head." You sat up. "Why are you asking me about this?" Bucky shrugged.
"Just wondering." He pulled you back down to his chest and kissed you. "I love you y/n."
"I love you too, Bucky."
