"LOKI?!" Tony yelled looking back at Bruce. "LOKI IS NOT SAVING Y/N!"

"It's the only way, Tony." Bruce said. "We need to get her back to the lab." Tony nodded and picked y/n up. Bruce grabbed the injector and followed Tony back into the compound.

"Tony?" Steve said when he saw them. "What's going on? What happened to y/n?"

"I'll tell you later." Tony said. Steve followed Bruce and Tony to the lab.

"What's going on?" Steve asked as Tony set y/n down on the table.

"She's dead Steve." Bruce said. "She injected herself with a chemical formula that killed her."

"Was she doing it on purpose?" Steve asked.

"She's the reason Loki's coming." Tony said. "We pressured her and she did this." He gestured at y/n. "And the only way to bring her back is Loki."

"Loki?!" Steve said. "Is there any other way?" Bruce shook his head.

"No." He said gravely. "It's the only way."

"Then let's do it." Steve said. "It's the only way." Bruce nodded.

"Loki will get here any moment." Tony said.

"Do we know where?" Steve asked.

"I don't know." Tony said. There was a pop and a yell. "That must be him." Tony, Steve, and Bruce ran out of the lab, leaving y/n lying on the table. They ran into the main room and saw Loki in the middle of the room with the other Avengers scattered around the room, prepared for a fight. "Loki." Tony hissed.

"Ahh," Loki said. "Stark." He grinned. "How's your sister? I really do like her."

"Don't talk about her!" Tony yelled. He ran forward but Steve pulled him back.

"Don't." Steve said. "And besides, we need his help."

"With what?" Loki asked.

"y/n."

"What about her?" Loki asked calmly.

"She's dead." The words rang through the silent room like a bell. She's dead. She's dead. She's dead.

"No." Bucky said. "She can't be dead!"

"We need you to bring her back, Loki." Bruce said.

"No." Thor said. "Loki will not bring back lady y/n. Even though we all want her back, he will use her corpse against us!"

"Good to see you too brother." Loki said. He turned back to Bruce. "I will help bring y/n back." Bruce smiled.

"Good." Bruce beckoned for Loki to follow him to the lab. Everyone followed. "Bring her back." Bruce ordered. "And don't do any funny stuff." Loki grinned again.

"I promise I won't." Loki walked over to y/n and put his hand on her forehead. His palm turned blue and a cool green glow formed between his palm and y/n's forehead. Silence fell across the room as everyone watched as Loki healed y/n.

~You're P.O.V.~

A cool green glow filled the absence of your vision and air filled your empty lungs. You tried to open your eyes but your eyelids were too heavy to raise. You heard shuffling and soft voices.

"Is it working?" Someone asked.

"This better work Loki." Someone else said.

"It will." A cool voice over your head said calmly.

"I don't trust you." The second voice said.

"I know." The voice over your head said. Your eyelids peeled open and you gasped for air.

"y/n!" Tony said. Loki took his hand off your forehead and sighed. Tony pushed Loki out of the way and leaned over you. "Never do that again." He said.

"What happened?" You asked. "First I was on the roof, injecting myself, and now I'm here."

"You died." Tony choked out. "Loki saved you. You sat up and Tony backed away.

"I feel weird." You rubbed your head. "Like there's something in me that wasn't there before."

"Maybe it's just the side effects of dying." Bruce suggested.

"Yeah, probably." You agreed and got off the table. Tony gave you your crutches but you pushed them away. "I don't need them." You said. "My broken bones are healed."

"How is that possible?" Tony said.

"I don't know." You said.

"Well," Loki said. "Looks like I can do what I want now." He grinned evilly. His scepter appeared in his hand and he shot a blast of blue at Natasha.

"No!" You yelled, extending your hand. The blast stopped in mid air. You turned your hand and the blast turned. "What the-?" You said. Loki sent a blast at Clint and Sam but you stopped them. "GO!" You yelled. Everyone scattered. You knew they were coming back. You sent the blasts back at Loki. He barely got out of the way.

"How?" He asked.

"Honestly, I have no idea." A ball of fire appeared in your hand and your eyes started smoking. Loki stumbled back and sent a blast at you. You dodged it and sent the ball of fire at Loki. It caught the hem of his outfit but Loki stomped it out. He began sending blue blasts at you. You rolled over the table and turned it over. Hiding behind it, a fire ball appeared in your palm. Your eyes were still smoking. The Avengers ran into the room and surrounded Loki. Loki vanished. The fireball disappeared and your eyes stopped smoking. Bucky ran over to you.

"Are you okay?" He asked, helping you up.

You nodded, "Yeah"

"How did you get those powers?" Bucky asked and you shrugged your shoulders.

"We're going to have to run some tests on you." Bruce began.

"No." You said. "Just don't keep those chemicals near each other." Bruce nodded and headed off. You shivered. "I'm sorry Bucky."

"About what?" Bucky asked.

"I brought Loki here and I killed myself." You said.

"It's okay." Bucky hugged you.

"Have you ever tried to kill yourself?" You asked.

"Once." Bucky said. "It was when I found out you were dead, I went into enougher room and found a gun." Bucky looked at his feet and gulped. "I was going to kill myself but then I remembered I had Steve. And even if you died, I still had someone."

"I didn't regret it." You said. "I thought about you and Tony and my friends, but I thought I was doing you and them a favor. By killing myself, so Loki wouldn't come. He was using me, so if I died, he couldn't get inside the compound." Bucky hugged you.

"Good thing you being dead wasn't permanent."

"Yeah." You agreed. "Good thing it wasn't permanent."
