Victoria sat at the table, checking her watch every once in awhile, while she played with her hands. She was extremely nervous for Chris to show up.

"Vic?"

The hand on her shoulder immediately brought her back to that night. Shaking it off, she got up and give Chris a hug.

"Hi."

The two sat down across from each other, both looking extremely awkward.

"Is everything ok? You were kinda vague yesterday."

"Yeah I'm ok, I just need to tell you something."

Chris relaxed a little, taking a sip out of his coffee cup.

"If its about the other week, I haven't been able to get you out of my head either-"

"I'm pregnant."

Chris tensed in his seat, sitting up a little straighter.

"What?"

You sighed, rubbing a hand down your face.

"Do you really need me to repeat it again?"

"Are you sure? Like 1000%?"

"I went to the doctor's yesterday morning and sure enough there was a baby."

Chris got up, paying quickly, and storming out the door without even saying anything else to you.

She looked at his empty seat, shaking her head as one tear rolled down her face. She quickly collected her things and left the cafe as well.
