(Jigen x Goemon)

Jigen opens the wooden beige door with a cigarette in his mouth.

"Can't believe we finally got away from that guy!"

He exclaims as he, Lupin, and Goemon enter their hotel room. There's a couple small couches, a coffee table, dressers, and TV with its matching TV stand.

"Oh pops can really chase me down all day, any day, huh? What a workout!"
Lupin says with enthusiasm as he walks on.
Goemon walks in last to close the door.

"Yes and what a headache."
Goemon comments lowly. Jigen looms over the coffee table, taking his cigarette and pressing it down into the ash tray provided.

"Glad we got back in one piece.
All I want to do is hit the hay after the showers."
Jigen says tiredly, heading over to the hotel bedroom that accesses to the main bathroom.

Lupin sprints past the slowly moving Jigen.

"Not if I'm first!"

He bursts through the bedroom door and comically jumps out of his clothes to have the first hot shower. Goemon goes to sit at one end of a predominantly long sofa as Jigen sighs at dismay.

"I'm too tired to fight him for it any way."
He grumbles to himself.

Jigen hops onto the same seat as Goemon, taking up the couch of its the entirety with his head laying comfortably in Goemons lap. Goemon raises a brow and looks down.

"What are you doing?"

"What do you think I'm doing?"

"You're being an annoyance."

"Wrong, and harsh."

"What am I, your bed?"

"I'm only getting comfortable."

"...Hmmph. Fine. Suit yourself."

Being tolerant, Goemon huffs through his nose while Jigen smiles under his hat. The two sit quietly as they head the muffled sound of shower water and humming within their hotel compound play not too far away. Jigen rests easy and yawns loudly before nuzzling his head comfortably into Goemons side, falling quiet.

"Are you.... actually going to sleep here?"

"......mmhm..."

"Tch."
What a pain.

Goemon stares down at Jigen face mostly covered by his fedora. He stares at it, becoming somewhat entranced as it rises and falls with Jigens slow of breathing. He continues to watch as Lupin hums to himself in the shower, most likely scrubbing in places where the sun doesn't shine.

As Jigen sleeps, Goemon too grows tired. Yet a spark playfulness starts to stem out of his tiredness. Goemon hesitantly touches and flicks parts of Jigens beard. The hairy spikes bounces in reaction as a torsion spring would while Jigen snores softly.

Curiously enough, Goemon carefully removes the fedora off of Jigens face, revealing the gun-mans face sleeping soundly. Goemon shifts slightly, leaning in at a closer look, studying Jigens face. He takes small notes of Jigens facial structure, things nobody could notice at a first glance and would usually be hidden away under his hat.

It is like the skin around his baggy wrinkly eyes are a different tint than the rest of him,
Goemon thinks to himself.

His face is covered with the scars,
so many small white lines that barely visible...
And his hair... is rather shiny yet matted down..

Goemon reaches to touch Jigens hair as discreetly as possible. He gently combs Jigens oily silky hair starting from his hairline near his forehead to the back of Jigens head, at least the part that isn't resting on Goemons lap.

Hmm, Goemon thinks,

Oily but not too much.
It is almost...soft...fluffy...

"What'cha doin' there Goemon?"

Goemon abruptly turns to see a shirtless Lupin wearing nothing but his boxers and a small white towel hanging from his neck peering over his shoulder, his hair shiny and dripping with shower water.

"Agh!"

Goemom quickly pulls his hand away from Jigens hair and places the fedora back on the gun-mans face. Lupin straightens up and chuckles, walking around the couch drying his hair with the towel as Goemon sits quietly with a stern face that slowly turns to a bright peachy pink.

Lupin plops down on the couch parallel of Goemon, rubbing his head with a towel to dry his scalp.

"What were you doing there— studying your enemy?"

"Who says we were enemies?"

"He's my gunman silly!
Remember all those years ago when you said you would kill me?"

"Ah, yes."

"When's that going to happen?
Cuz when it does, Jigen will most likely be there to protect me. And certainly you can't kill two friends in one night, now can you?"

Goemon blush softens as he exhales a small smile, peering back down at the sleeping Jigen.

"No, I would not, unless... I had no choice.—"

Goemon places his hand back on top of Jigens fedora.

"And even if so—"

He pulls the fedora up with Jigens eyes squinting up at Goemon, his pupils glinting from the ceiling lights paired with a grin. Goemon returns a small smile naturally.

"— I would not let myself live long enough to regret it soon after."

"Awwwwww! Goemonnnn!"
Lupin cries out, holding his towel to his face with teary puppy-dog eyes.

Goemon pays no mind to Lupin as his eyes flutter looking down at Jigen, his smile disappearing at the realization of how cheesy he sounded. Even worse, that Jigen was awake to hear it. Jigen snickers as Goemons face turns pink from embarrassment.

He quickly crosses his arms and looks away from both of the men, staring at the doorway of the hotel bedroom with a pink angered face— leaving them both to laugh at his embarrassed reaction.

"Who are you two to laugh at?
I am only stating the very truth."
Goemon says sternly, despite his heart beating out of his chest and his cheeks flourishing in shades of pink.

"Yeah, well—"

Jigen grunts as he sits up, moving himself to be sitting in Goemons lap. Goemon shifts uncomfortably for the weight change, turning his attention towards Jigen, who's face was merely inches away from his. Under the fedora poked out a smile and a singular glint of a caring eye.

"— That was just real sweet of you Goemon. Didn't think you had enough heart to say something like that man."

Goemon stares dumbfounded before angrily turning away his head, his face re-flourishing a fresh roseate. Jigen pulls the tip of his fedora down, hiding a side of his own blush when he chuckles.
Suddenly, the hotel phone rings.

"Ah! That must be Fujicakes! Oh Fujikooooo!"

Lupin springs from his seat and sprints to the wall telephone, answering its call and chatting ecstatically to the other end with flirty-ness and excitement.
However, all he says seem to fade from hearing as Goemon glances back at Jigen who's cap was in the way of his eyes. Jigen slowly raises his head, just enough to lock eyes with Goemon.

"You're heavy."

"Heh, no." Jigen smiles.
"I'm comfortable. Stupid samurai."

"Idiot gun man."
