I woke up in cold sweat. "WILLIAM!" I screamed the name of the man I hadn't seen in the last thirty five years. *Sigh* Same dream... same person... same reaction. "Ever since I lit the damn fire.." I muttered to myself.
I glanced at the window... I left the. curtains open again? I rubbed my temples and got up from my bed. *Yawn* I stood up fully after a few seconds of wobbling to find my glasses. I adjusted them.
I looked down at my desk and decided to turn on my speaker. "Jhonny don't leave me... you said you'd love me foreverrr." I mumbled the song under my breath. "Another day...." I let out a grumble. I grabbed a small brown leathered book from my drawer and opened it.
I flipped through the pages of my my writing. I landed on a page of a poem I made about a curtain male. "You see these roses are red and you are scared but, I'll stick with you wherever you are..." I whispered. "Jesus..." I felt a few tears build up in my eyes. A sorry look plastered to my face. I promised to stick with him but, he promised not to hurt me. Broken promises...
