Chapter 3: New Start

The next morning was Saturday. I woke up at 10:30 noticing we fell asleep on the couch. I carried Drevon to his bed and cleaned our mess. I washed up the dishes and went up to my room.

Since I was off today I decided to go to the mall. I took a quick shower and threw on some booty shorts with a gray striped shirt that hung off one shoulder. I pulled my bow sandals out the box and lotioned my legs and feet before putting my sandals on. I sprayed on some Victoria's secrets. I applied my chap stick on my lips and made sure my hair was straight.

After giving myself a once over I grabbed my purse and phone and headed down stairs. My mom sat on the couch watching the news. Her eyes were red and puffy and her hair looked like a bird nest. I kissed her cheek and told her I'll be back. She didn't respond.
I threw on my sunglasses as I got into my silver 2014 camaro concept. I dialed Erin's number.

*Her: Hello?
*Me: Girl get your raggedy ass up and get dressed I'm coming to get you.
*Her: Really? Okay!

I drove to McDonald's and got me and her some food. Giving her some time to get dressed.

20 minutes later I pulled up to her house and beeped my horn. She came out wearing some booty shorts a tank top and some sandals. She yelled something to her mom and got in.

Erin thanked me for the food and began to eat. I love my talkative best friend. We pulled into the mall and found a parking spot instantly.

We got out with our arms linked together and walked into the mall. It was a little crowded but we didn't mind. First we went to victoria secrets and got bra's, boyshorts, and smell goods. Then we headed to forever 21. We found all sorts of best friend clothes. We got almost 4 matching outfits. With both my arms filled with clothes I walked up to the register. Erin was behind me waiting to pay for her stuff. I dug around in my purse looking for my wallet when the voice of an angel spoke to me.

"Hello Smiley." She said.
I looked up to see Ky staring down at me. She was behind the counter ringing up my clothes.
"Hi I didn't know you worked here! " I said blushing.
" I just started last week. " she said smiling back at me.
" Ohh that's nice. Btw you look amazing in uniform." I blurted out biting my lip at my out burst.
"I do don't I? But no forreal thank you. I must say you look delicious.. I mean beautiful." She said turning red in the face.
"Thank you. " I said smiling from ear to ear.
"Y'all two gone flirt all day or what? I'm ready to get all these clothes out my hands! " Erin chimed in.

I paid for my things and grabbed my bags. I let Erin pay for her things and then we left to leave.

"Aye gorgeous! " Ky called after us.

I turned around and smiled.

" Come back in 45 minutes I'll be on break. I need to holla at you." She said
"I gotcha !" I said as I walked away.
"Owwwwe Chiiilee! she want you Drea! " Erin said chuckling.
"I want her too shooot! " I taunted.

We shopped some more until it was time to go back to Ky. Erin spotted Ly over at gamestop and we went over to her. They groped each other and started sucking face. I rolled my eyes and told them ill call them when I'm done talking to Ky.

"You go girl! " Erin called after me.

I walked back to forever 21 just as Ky was going on break she lit up when she saw me. So did I.

"So you came back huh. I'm glad let's go eat." She said.

Ky held my hand as we walked to the food court. The smell of her Cologne sent chills down my spine. I smiled the whole way there. We found an empty table and I sat down as she went to go get food.

I watched her slender frame walk over to the line. Her dreads hung down her back and her pants slightly sagged. She walked with a limp which made her even more sexy. After ordering our food she came back with a tray. She got both of us a Burger and some fries.

We ate and talked. She told me that her real name is Skyanni Grey but she liked being called Ky. I learned her hobbies and about her family. I told her about me and we clicked. After a while it was time for her to go back to work.

"I had fun talking to you Miss Dre'Anna Jackson." She smiled as she kissed my cheek.
"Me too Miss Skyanni Grey. " I said smiling.
"Watch it! It's Ky! Remember that! "She said as she walked me to where Erin and Ly stood. She dapped Ly up and waved at Erin. We exchanged numbers and she left.

"Owee you glowing! What she did gave you head in the bathroom?" Ly laughed breaking the trance I was in.
"No stupid shut up! Erin let's go we gotta jet! " I said still smiling.

She kissed Ly goodbye and we left.
