The Pretender

TAY POV

"Have you ever imagined life without me, Hin?"

Those thoughts crowded my mind as I was driving. The great pretender by The Platters playing on the radio while I was driving. I smiled thinking that will never be the case because right now we are happy together, the incident really did help with our reletionship and now I have imrpoved as well.
I am on my way to New's condo to hangout,our weekly movie night on fridays is always a must. Back then he would drive and get me but now I can drive perfectly and go to him, sometimes I drive around as well.
Since New can't drive that much anymore because he feels trenors in his hands.

We were involved in a car accident a year ago while we were on the road,luckily we both survived and here we are.

As I made my way to New's condo pressing the pin. I received a call from Peng.

"Peng?-Tay

"Where are you Peng?"- Off

"I'm here with New" - Tay

I am already inside and New was already sitting at the couch flicking through netflix, then he turned to me smiling motioning me to come.

"Why are you there?Didn't we promise to meet now?dinner with the boys?Tay..."- Off

I cut Peng off.. 

"You know its fridays,I didn't even promise to go with you guys. Right Hin?"- Tay

"Tay .. " - Off

"Peng I know okay, I needed this we needed this you know. This with Hin just please understand okay." - Tay

New just nodded in agreement with me while munching on that popcorn , I assumed he had cooked awhile ago judging from the slightly burnt caramel smell in the condo.
He snuggled to my open arm laying on the headrest of the couch.

"Peng, I was just. You need to stop that"- Off

I became suddenly annoyed at what he said.what does he mean stop seeing Hin. Is he crazy or what.

"I told you I know what I'm doing!Could you please stop!Meddling with my affairs!!"-Tay

"Oh no no no Peng I'm sorry I didn't mean it Oh my gosh just don't I'm sorry" - Tay

"Peng it's alright, I understand. Just I hope you realize what I'm saying." - Off

"I'll talk to you later , New is already upset I got to go" - Tay

Eyeing New pouting at my arms he looked up to me, giving me a glare.

" Okay that was just Off, okay he was kinda bugging me about going out" - Tay

"Don't you want to go out with them?"- Tay

"No, just stay here Te" - New

"Okay whatever you like" - Tay

I just smiled thinking about peaceful days with him.
New dozed off a couple of minutes later and I carried him to bed and snuggled beside him falling asleep.

I woke up with the incessant knocking on the door, New still beside me sleeping he stirred in his sleep groaning. I immeddiately went to the door to make it stop or else New would be awake.

"What is it??!"- Tay

As I closed the door behind me. Off and Gun was standing waiting for me in the middle of the room

"Peng!You slept here again?!What are you planning on doing live here?please Tay"- Off

"What??Its perfectly fine Peng!"- Tay
