The fucking lighter won't work, I was already on the verge of cussing out and throwing a fit at this lighter. Outside of the club where Arm and Off is, I went out to smoke still flicking my lighter desperately to light my nicotine stick up. Then a light came to my side I immediately burned my stick to it. Then I looked up at the guy to thank them. He smiled, that pretty mole I can see clearly on his nose as his eyes crinkle at me his cheeks flushed. His lips in a smile. His skin as white as snow.
"A thank you would do, no need to stare heheh" - New
"A.. Uh.. Uhhh Thank you!hah" - Tay
"Cold huh?Early decembers are the coldest" - New
He turned leaning at the railing facing the club. The sound was still blasting inside you can hear faint noises, it's already 2 am in the morning and the party was still up people still hyping inside. I puff a smoke out and enveloped the air and it looks like he doesn't mind. He just pocketed his hands on his black leather jacket he is wearing a white shirt inside and ripped black jeans to pair it off. While I wore denim jacket and white shirt inside with blue jeans ripped in all places, I was wearing a cap. I offered him a smoke but he shrugged it off.
"You don't smoke?"- Tay
"I don't.. Haha " - New
"Why?the lighter?"- Tay
"It's not mine, my friends" - New
" Oh, Why are you out here? Not having fun?"- Tay
"Oh believe me I've had enough booze for tonight haha not going home wasted" - New
I kinda like his voice deep cold voice just right for my ears. The cold morning breeze blew and a whiff of faint strawberry laced with alcohol passed my nose. Sweet is what I thought to myself. I don't know what came to me.
"Wanna go for a drive?"- Tay
He looked at me maybe judging if I am not a dangerous person, I am definitely sure he would reject my offer.
"Sure where to?" - New
"Uhm if your up for beers and some sunrise then were cool" - Tay
"That would be nice" - New
We hopped on my convertible driving to the highways blasting my stereo with 1975 songs which he told me he liked as well. His hands high up in the air as we drove to the highways feeling the cold air pass through his hands. Giggling and laughing at his antics. We made it through the beach leaving my car at the side of the highway and our shoes, running through the sands of the beach he was holding the cans of beer we bought at a passing convenience store while I hold the blanket that had been stuffed at the back seat of my car. We found a nice place behind the big rocks not too near and not far from the water.
"hahaha I've never tried going to the beach at 3am" -New
He was laughing and giggling plopping to the blanket I laid to the sands. I sat beside him opening a can of beer and gave him one.
"This is a first for me too, It just came out of nowhere since there is a crazy dude willing to go with me" - Tay
"Thank that crazy dude he is for keeps hahaha" - New
"I know and that crazy dude is pretty as fuck" - Tay
I cupped his face with my hand as he stared at me, our faces inches apart I can smell strawberries in him intoxicated with his scent, I pulled him by the nape and we kissed. Like there's no tomorrow his lips are sweet his kisses are drowning me to oblivion he felt so good, so right for me. He snaked his arms on my neck and we kissed deeper not knowing how long it took us to break off. Foreheads pressed together we laughed. His giggles are like melodies that strung my heart. We cheered as we downed the beers some were scattered all over some still unopened . We just laid there looking at stars and listening to the waters that crashed to shore.We talked just like that the feeling was just right we felt comfortable in each others company. We talked from space to books and places we would like to travel.
One by one the cans get emptied as we laid there just looking lost in each others eyes. We kissed we laughed we talked. We basically just did nothing but it feels as if time was ticking to fast and came the dawn. We stood up walking to the shore. I joked around and invited him to dance playing like kids I twirled him and he twirled me. Laughing like we didn't care about the world. We went back to the car as the sun came about and painted the skies in its bright hues.
"Did you have fun?"- Tay
I held his hand on my thigh and kept it on place as we droved off on the highways beside the beach.
"I did, New .. call me New" - New
"Tay, I'm Tay"- Tay
" Okay Te.. Hahah" - New
"It's Tay but whatever you say New" -Tay
I kissed the back of his hand and he blushed, he was leaning on me as we drove off to the city back to the my condo. I knew that moment he smiled at me he was it. He kissed my cheek and we giggled hoping the day brings us a little more closer together. I stopped smoking instead I held his hand smelling his strawberry scent around me intoxicating in this feeling that's hard to discern. My first taste of strawberries were sweet making me forget my packs of cigarette tossed at the back seat of my convertible.
