Aurora could tell Steve was mad.
"Hey, are you okay?" Aurora asked with her hand on his cheek. He didn't move away from the touch but nodded and walked away.
After that, Aurora and Natasha went to their bedrooms to change out of their party clothes and into something more comfortable.
"Aurora your bleeding," Natasha informed her. "What?" Aurora asked confused and then Natasha pointed down to her feet and behind them. She had left a trail of blood. "Shit okay, I'll clean it," Aurora replied and rushed to her room.
After changing into a hoodie and tights Aurora got the first aid kit she kept in the bathroom and started cleaning the wound but was interrupted when Natasha said that they had to meet in the lab.
As soon as Aurora got into the lab she sat down and continued cleaning her wound and Maria joined in since she had glass in her feet as well.
"All our work is gone," Bruce said breaking the tense silence. "Ultron cleared out. He used the internet as an escape hatch." Bruce added.
"Ultron," Steve muttered like it was a curse.
"He's been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other." Natasha told them as Aurora finished bandaging her foot.
"He's in your files, he's in the internet," Rhodey said standing up from where he was leaning. "What if he decided to access something a little more exciting?" Rhodey asked.
"Nuclear codes," Maria said looking up at them. "Nuclear codes. Look we need to make some calls assuming we still can." Rhodey said.
"Nukes? He said he wanted us dead." Natasha asked. "Not dead extinct." Steve corrected and Aurora's gaze filtered up to look at him but Steve turned away. She immediately dug her nails into her palms as a way to keep herself grounded.
"He also said he killed somebody." Clint piped up. "There wasn't anyone else in the building," Maria said confused.
"Yes, there was," Tony said peaking up for the first time. He walked to the middle of the room and put up a broken holograph of JARVIS.
"Fuck." Aurora muttered shaking her head. She and Tony had worked so hard on making JARVIS and now he was gone because of their mistakes.
"What? This is insane." Bruce said quietly. "JARVIS was the first line of defence. He would've shut Ultron down. It makes sense." Steve replied folding his arms.
"No," Aurora said making all of them look at her. "Ultron assimilated JARVIS. This isn't some strategic move it's rage," Aurora told them.
Then Thor walked in and grabbed Tony by his neck. Aurora instantly stood up and so did Steve concerned.
"Thor put him down or I swear to God..." Aurora said angrily. "Come on buddy use your words," Tony gasped clawing at his neck. "Thor. Put. Him. Down." Aurora said as fire came out of her hands. "Aurora stand down," Steve said but Aurora glared at him.
"I have more than enough words to describe you Stark," Thor said then dropped him. Aurora ran over to Tony to make sure he was okay.
"Hey, are you okay?" Aurora asked crouching in front of her brother. "Just give me a sec. Can't breathe." Tony replied gasping. "Come on you gotta stand up," Aurora said grabbing his hand and pulling Tony up. She inspected Tony's neck and found bruises already forming at the spot where Thor was strangling him. "Hey, you're okay. Just some light bruises." Aurora told him.
"Your hands," Tony mumbled quietly. "What?" Aurora said confused. "You're bleeding," Tony whispered. "Oh. It's fine." Aurora said brushing him off.
"Thor. The legionnaire." Steve said. Thor had left to go and get the sceptre back but obviously, he didn't get it.
