Chapter 2 | Part 2

Throughout October, Aurora and Bucky were bouncing around Romania just in case the Avengers were monitoring that area for Bucky. During that time Bucky started trusting Aurora more and would talk to her and start conversations. 

"What do you prefer James or Bucky?" Aurora asked him. "James. Bucky Barnes died when I fell off the train." James said after a minute of thinking. After that Aurora called him James and not Bucky. 

In return, Aurora would tell him stories that Steve had told her about the two in the 40s and bring him up to speed on the 21st century and everything that happened since World War 2. She also taught him about hygiene and how to maintain his hair since it was so long. Aurora bought him new clothes and better furniture for his apartment once they got back there at the beginning of November.

In November, James continued doing random jobs that gave him money and Aurora started fixing up cars for the citizens of Romania for free since she already had a lot of money and didn't need anymore. She had always enjoyed fixing cars so it was fun for her.

Aurora's birthday was also in November and to celebrate James bought her Cupcakes and candles and the two celebrated together. "Thank you for all of this James." Aurora as the two ate the cupcakes. "Thank you for believing in me," James said. That day was the first time James had hugged someone since the 40s.

Since this was Aurora's first birthday after "dying" the public had been celebrating her birthday and the Avengers all sorta moped around New York and kept themselves busy but not busy enough to celebrate a little bit.

For Christmas and New Year's Aurora drove herself and James to London so they could celebrate there. Aurora made sure that they could get super festive and in the Christmas mood by getting an obscene amount of decorations and a huge Christmas tree.

While in London, Aurora went to visit Aunt Peggy and sadly her dementia was getting worse and her health was slowly deteriorating. "How is she?" James asked. He couldn't remember who Peggy was yet but had small glimpses. Aurora couldn't even get herself to say anything but James understood as she shook her head. The two sat in silence after that. 

After that things kinda laid low. Steve wasn't looking for James as much and didn't come close to Romania again. Aurora started going around Europe and dealing with any criminal gangs who still and any Stark Industries weapons. During that time she had also discovered that people were stealing materials from the Department of Damage Control and were taking things from the Avenger's fights and selling them.

From January 2016 to May 2016 that's all Aurora was doing other than helping James and staying off the government's radar. 

She only spent 5 months doing that because after a year of being dead to the public and her family everything went to shit.
