Sia's POV :

"Oh cmon Sia! That isn't necessary! "

Aaron exclaimed as I informed her that I am going to water the plants in the garden

"It'll only take like 10 minutes " I pleaded

After the incident that happened in the morning, I have decided to engross myself in work to distract my thoughts. I wanted to complete all the work as fast as I could and then I'll go on a little job hunting spree.

I have decided.. I will find a job , earn as much as I can and then move out of here asap.

Living with Justin is not a good idea

"You've been working for so long! Come sit with me. I am bored"

Aaron requested as she basically pulled me with her into the living room

She made me sit on the sofa then plopped down beside me

"Aaron listen -" I tried to argue but she cut me off

"Oh hush take a break lady ! Fay's gonna be back soon, we can have lunch together and then you can go okay ?"

She asked but looking in her eyes I knew better than to defy her right now

"Uhmhm" I nodded

"So tell me about yourself. About your life before meeting that Asshole " Aaron asked

My eyes went wide at her 'Asshole' remark , I have never thought that she could swear

"What? I'm a grown woman " She said with a little laugh, me joining her soon

"Tell me " She said softly and ushered me to continue

"Well, it was nice...I lived in India till I completed 12th grad-"

"You're from India?! " Aaron asked
shocked

"Um Yeah, my full name is Sia singh Roberts , well only untill the divorce is done " I paused and looked at Aaron who gave me a sad smile

"After completing school, I gave several scholarship exams since my parents weren't necessarily earning well and I did got one, in King's College, London. It was a really good news but a huge risk as well. I've never been a social bird throughout school, never left home unless necessary and then suddenly moving to not only a new place but to a different country , it was a really huge deal for a family like mine. It all happened in so much haste. My parents were so against it but then they couldn't pay for my college tuition anyways as they were already paying for my..my sister's tuition ,she was still young though...probably in nineth grade so they decided to let me go and study. We still had to take a loan for all the other expenses but we somehow managed. In college everything was going okay..it was really hard to fit in, I always felt not included ,like an extra you know? but then.. I met Andrew... And my life did a complete flip. He was the everything a girl could ask for. He was a  real life prince Charming who came and sweeped me off my feet... " I scoffed thinking about how wrong you can be about a person

Aaron rubbed my shoulder and whispered a little "it's okay "

"He.. He was in his final year of engineering while I was just a freshman in literature. We dated till he completed his degree and then he asked me to marry him .. I decided to tell my parents. They were furious. They asked me to come back right then. They wanted me to choose. It was either them or Andrew. I begged them for a chance. I was ready to do anything if they could just give Andrew a chance but they were firm on their decision. But I just couldn't leave Andrew you know? I loved him , he was my first love so when he asked me to elope with him I agreed. I don't know what came over me I dropped out of college in my first year to marry him..yeah.. I chose him over my studies,my career,my family.. I don't know why I did that "

I muttered the last line as I shook my head in disappointment and wiped the tear that has managed to slip out of my eye without me even realising

" Anyways so then we eloped and settled down in New York. His family owned a few hotels there. They didn't like me much though.. For obvious reasons I Guess, I was an Indian student on scholarship, I was not upto their standards, didn't belong to their society, etc etc. But Andrew didn't care. We moved in this house his grandparents gifted him for our marriage. They were really nice people, treated me as their own grand daughter. It was all going good, I missed my family but I guess I got used to live without them. I tried contacting them but they cut me off completely. We wanted to go to India to talk to them but Andrew didn't got enough time and if I went alone I knew they wouldn't let me come back. I still kept in touch with my sister . We would chat here and there and sometimes call on skype. An year ago, on my sixth marriage anniversary, she called to wish me. And then she asked if she could somehow do an internship in one of Andrew's hotel, since she just graduated in hotel management and it would be good for her resume. I was extremely happy and agreed right then. Andrew was happy for me too, I would finally meet my only family left . Andrew informed me that he'll make her work right under him so that he could train her well. And I guess.. You know what happened after that... "
